Why is the racial intelligence gap so taboo?
I mean, evolution explains it perfectly. Sub-Saharan Africans evolved in an environment that didn't necessarily favor intelligence and reason over day to day survival.
shareI mean, evolution explains it perfectly. Sub-Saharan Africans evolved in an environment that didn't necessarily favor intelligence and reason over day to day survival.
shareWell, the problem is, some of their descendants broke that stereotype by working hard and growing their intelligence through study and learning.
That, and whatever that study was, regardless of whether its results are conclusive or not, the minute anybody heard the results, they would pull out the R card and condemn the researchers, "cancelling" them, essentially.
But the gap never disappears. Outliers exist sure but exceptions are not the rule
shareI'm also curious as to why actual native Africans (the ones who immigrate to Europe and the States) are better educated and have better manners than their cousins here in America?
shareIt's called brain drain. We get the top .000001% of the countries that send students here for higher learning.
shareSad. I've worked with black children, and I see so much potential in them, and it makes me even sadder that their culture will never let them get that far :( Their peers think working hard, getting good grades, and going to college and getting a job doing something they love is being "too white." It isn't. It's called "being successful," and you don't have to be white to do that.
shareYeah, it's learned helplessness. They would rather ride the white guilt handout train into some section 8 housing and down any of their own who make them look bad by being 'Uncle Toms'.
shareIt’s not learned though. It’s taught. By their Democrat media/party slave masters. And it hasn’t always been.
This was started in the 60s under Democrat President Johnson who hated blacks. His Democrats voted against the civil right act of ‘64. They authored and created a wellfare system that purposely targeted and destroyed the black family and community.
Have things changed? Who did the Democrat media/party select as a representative of the black community in the US to interview Biden at their convention? Inspirational Billionaire Oprah Winfrey? No. Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson? No. Billionaire producer Tyler Perry? No. They picked a prostitute and convicted criminal Cardi B. Why? Because to the Democrat party she is a perfect representation of how they see the black community.
As Kanye said: “slavery for 400 years? That’s a choice”
I think the reason for that is because here in the U.S. black children are taught early on that to make it out of the ghetto you either have to play ball or sell drugs.
shareNo, they are taught that being respectful and trying hard is "selling out", and it's more important to "keep it real" in the black community than to "keep a job".
shareMadison Grant, is that you?

Why do racists have to try to be so clever in spewing their racism on the web? Don't they get tired of being trolls and promoting hate and division?
shareHow are facts promoting hate?
shareFacts are a liberal's worst enemy.
shareOnly your fake-facts and racist taunts.
shareLol no. Real facts. Racist is the cry of someone losing an argument
shareLies and slander are the Conservatives only tool.
shareyou are the gooberiest of goobers dude
shareIt's not the truth of it that makes it taboo. It's the lack of peer review that makes it taboo.
Racial intelligence gaps so far appear to be inconclusive. We don't know for sure because we've never developed adequate testing. The tests we use typically favor those who have been educated. That's not how you test different races with different income levels considering income and home stability are the greatest motivators for education.
No, there's a lack of peer review specifically BECAUSE it's taboo. The Minnesota trans-racial adoption study was abandoned because the gap persisted and they didn't want to be blackballed. James Watson, one of the co-discoverers of the human genome, was blacklisted for just mentioning the possibility of a genetic-based gap in why our assistance to these third world countries isn't successful in the long term.
There are zero studies showing the gap disappearing and the studies that people do have the guts to do show gaps but are then basically shut down due to political correctness.
Lol, black people voted Trump out of office and it pissed you off.
Cry more.
JFC, statements like these only show how much of an idiot you truly are.
shareIt doesn’t matter the subject, it doesn’t matter the debate...it’s impossible for you to reply at some point without bringing Trump and his voters into the mix. You live, eat, and sleep your negatives about Trump and his voters. As much as I detested Obama I could go days without thinking about him. But, not you! No way, no how can you go a day, even an hour without slamming him and his voters. You are one for the case books...you are living proof TDS exists.
shareThe OP doesn't care about the truth. Since there's no study proving black people are dumber, he chooses to believe there's a conspiracy preventing those studies from being had.
As soon as I see these Trumpist conspiracy fantasies reveal themselves, I'm going to put them in their place.
It's what we all should do.
Someone who asks that original question doesn't get to pretend to be scientific in a discussion, you lost that when you trolled the issue.
What is intelligence and how is it measured? What a the units of intelligence?
https://www.123test.com/iq-test/
What is an IQ test?share
IQ is an abbreviation of Intelligence Quotient. So, OK, but what is IQ? The IQ is a measurement of your intelligence and is expressed in a number. It’s an estimate also, there will always be a given amount of measurement error.
A person’s IQ can be calculated by having the person take an intelligence test. The average IQ is 100 by definition. If you achieve a score higher than 100, you did better than the average person, and a lower score means you (somewhat) performed less.
What is a good IQ score?
The average IQ score is always 100, and your personal score tells you your IQ ranking compared to the average. IQ scores are based on comparisons with other people who took the test: the norm group. As 100 is the average score, your score tells you how your IQ score ranks compared to other people. Most people score between 85 and 115.
About 2% of the population has an IQ score lower than 69. Such a low IQ score often is hard to measure using a regular intelligence test. Very high IQ scores, say over 150, are also hard to determine accurately. This is because you need a lot of reference measurements to determine a specific score reliably. As very high and very low IQ scores simply do not occur often, it is hard to form such a reference group.
No, there is no measurement of native intelligence.
They are measuring what things people have learned from their rich or deficient environments, parenting, nutrition, etc. Like I said, what are the units of intelligence if it can be measured. Intelligence tests measure how much someone has already been exposed to, and that is dependent on their experience. And aside from all of that the implication is to put an economic value on some people's lives which to actually intelligent people have a component of immorality, even genocide.
There are always the ways of the olden days. You can throw 100 people in the Alaskan wilderness. The ones that make it back to society are smart ones.
shareBecause it is true and explains so much. Look at the Middle East as another great example of people who just aren't that bright.
shareObviously, you know nothing about history or you wouldn't say something so ignorant.
Books can be your friend!
Look right here at home and who we last elected to be our leader. The Middle East has nothing on us, in fact they have an excuse, a lousy government system and a stultifying, dogmatic and terrorizing religion. Our stultifying, dogmatic and terrorizing religion is a dehumanizing version of capitalism.
shareWe elected a hugely successful businessman, educated at an ivy league school with enough charisma to win the office of President the first time he tried. That seems like a pretty good choice to me.
shareAnd yet another victim of TDS who finds it impossible to debate a subject without lobbing attacks against Trump and his voters! Personally I believe Trump voters are more intelligent than Biden voters. We voted with logic, not with “feelings”. Of course there are exceptions to everything.
”Greed: A word commonly used by liberals, low achievers, anti-capitalists and society's losers to denigrate, shame and discredit those who have acquired superior job skills and decision-making capabilities and who, through the application of those job skills, achieve success.”
And that's the sad part. They could be bright if they applied themselves, but their culture looks down on "peasants" being educated, and they really don't want their women educated unless it's in the realm of "women's stuff."
shareAfghanistan, Lebanon, Iran were all progressive countries before Islamic radicalism, Afghanistan believe it or not looked like 1950's America. Lebanon was considered the Paris of the East.
Islam was a huge mistake for them, retrograde in action.

The OP is clearly ignorant. He clearly has no knowledge of African history. He is also too ignorant to understand that IQ tests are culturally biased and reflect economic inequality.
Furthermore, the OP reflects someone who is likely failing in life and needs to depend on his "white ingroup status" to feel better about himself.
We should all feel pity for the OP and pray he can one day live a better life in order for his low self-esteem to increase.
"African history" Africa is a continent, comprised of several groups.
"IQ tests are culturally biased" Is that why eastern Asians perform the best?
Interesting that you chose to bring this nonsense to this site. Something tells me that you and the other idiots cheerleading you on would be far too chickenshit to post it to Facebook, where your real name is attached.
shareLol so basically all you have is the threat of cancel culture by proxy.
shareNot threatening you. Just pointing out that like all trolls, you're a coward who hides behind the veil of anonymity. If you lack the courage of your convictions, maybe rethink your position.
shareNo, you have no argument so you resort to personal attacks.
If all you can muster is an ad hominem, maybe rethink your position.
