The complete collapse of civilization, or society being contorted and shoved into an oppressive, Orwellian socialist state are both a greater threat than the Chinese virus by itself. The virus is being exploited as a prop to try and accomplish the other.
The draconian government lockdowns, BLM/Antifa riots, betrayal of police and law abiding citizens by various political office holders, and general war against America have already done more harm than the virus per se.
