Which is a greater threat in your personal opinion?

COVID-19 or societal breakdown and the collapse of civilization? You have over 98 percent chance of recovering from COVID. How are your chances at recovering from the downfall of civilization? COVID isn't what's out there hoarding food and TP, rioting, looting and burning and driving the murder rates sky high.

reply

COVID-19 is really happening, but the collapse for civilization is a fake-news lie that you Trump-supporters mindlessly accept.

reply

You should have ended the post after the first sentence.

You obviously put your opinions (or spin) and then ended your question with a commentary.

It's why I hate all things CNN, FOXNEWS, MSNBC.

reply

my great fear is that trump will get elected by electoral college like last time
also check out France and other countries before you spell out your ignorance

reply

Why are those two considered mutually exclusive possibilities? What if the former is contributing to the latter?

reply

American society is collapsing, not human civilization. America falling to marxism will have negative consequences for the entire world, but global civilization will continue on. It will be different(for the worse), but will continue.

reply

Actually it’s 99.9% chance of recovering for those under 50.

99.1 if you’re under 70.

The average age is 80 and 90% of deaths have 2 or more comorbidities.

Ie an 80yo dies with multiple health issues that’s called dying of old age.

Any societal breakdown and collapse of civilization that is happening right now is under Trump's watch. If it's getting out of hand, it's on him for not being able to handle it.

You're already admitting he can't handle covid. If he can't handle societal breakdown either, it's time to try something else.

It sounds to me that what the MAGAs are truly afraid of is both covid and societal breakdown both going away under Biden's presidency instead of Trump's.

That is a key component in what drove the MAGAs crazy in the first place. They saw Obama getting credit for the reversal of the 2007 recession. And their disdain for Obama is what allowed Trump to play them like a fiddle.

Yeah. Reminds me of a guy I knew. His house got infested by cockroaches. It was horrible. They were into all the food, crawling all over the walls. Finally, his family decided that since it happened on his watch, they should kick him out and let the cockroaches run the show. Now, the house is a utopia... For cockroaches.

reply

The family made the right choice in kicking the guy out. But after kicking the guy out, you're saying they didn't hire a new guy to fix the problem.

That would be like voting Trump out and not electing a new president.

reply

Why hire the guy the cockroaches want? Isn't that the same as allowing the roaches to bully you into submission?

reply

Cockroaches don't want to be near people. Messy people just have a way of making them come out of the woodwork. When the mess goes away, the cockroaches go away with it. The family needs to hire a guy that isn't so messy.

reply

How about a kindly old befuddled grandpa who will intentionally leave food out so the cockroaches don't starve?

reply

The breakdown of civilization starts with people openly carrying firearms to intimidate the rest of us who want to live in peace.
I don't trust any "Yahoo" who assumes s/he has the proper judgement to decide when to start shooting. The 2nd Amendment is trash.
