The Curious Phenomenon of Trump Hatred

Hate is a pretty severe emotion, it's an extreme sentiment of rancor and bloodlust. You hate people who threaten your survival or identity in some way.

Hate is deeply personal. A woman gets mugged by some trashy sub-human, for example, then that woman is entirely justified in hating him and people like him. Because this is hatred's proper place, to facilitate the destruction of the wicked. No sane person would begrudge her killing him if she had the chance; this is the natural order of things. The only people who don't understand this are bad people, or those who have never had to struggle in life.

But a politician? Sure, I dislike some. Obama said some dodgy things about small businesses, and why they don't deserve more support. George Bush Junior seemed a bit weird and unpleasant. The retards who want to let sociopaths out of prison en masse because of some profoundly misguided sense of justice, yeah fuck them.

But I do not HATE these people. Far from it.

People HATE Trump, and I've seen it with my own eyes. And these aren't peckerhead college students, these are company presidents and other successful people.

What genocide has Trump committed? Whose daughters has he raped? Whose houses has he burnt down? Whose children has he murdered?

People appear to hate Trump not for his evil acts, but because he somehow poses a colossal threat to their sense of identity. This doesn't make any sense and I don't respect it.

What is going on? I've always known that Trump is, like, a lot of people's personal boogeyman, but I don't know why. I think it's that he sort of calls out selfish, crybully assholes for what they are, and the shout-down tactics that work on everyone else don't work on him. But still, what's important is that this hatred of Trump is literally mass hysteria. It isn't normal, and yes this takes into account what he's said and done.

Not that I'm a big fan of his. I think he's controlled opposition at the end of the day, and I mean absolutely nothing to him or people like him. But this popular hatred of him is just... retarded. FFS invest that toxic energy into hating people who actually deserve it, if you must hate at all. Had to say this somewhere

is hot hate just extreme disappointment trump was gong to be a president but stayed a con man who never excepted the fact he was supposed to speak for all not just his bank account

"People appear to hate Trump not for his evil acts, but because he somehow poses a colossal threat to their sense of identity."

That was true for Obama. MAGA was created out of their inexplicable hatred of him. What we're seeing now in the hatred toward MAGA is a counter to MAGA's original hatred of Obama and non-white cultures.

What goes around, comes around.

reply

I support Trump and mostly regarded Obama with indifference.

reply

Just like many people you claim "hate" Trump merely regard him with indifference.

I'm specifically talking about the people who hate.

don't be slippery, it's annoying. You said MAGA was created out of people's inexplicable hatred of Obama. Well I'm one of those MAGA people, and I didn't have any hatred for Obama at all, inexplicable or not. I'm "MAGA" in reaction to the inexplicable hatred towards Trump from the left in their endless media hit-pieces, among many many other things for which abusive modern leftism is mostly to blame for.

reply

There's no slippery here. MAGA is another term for today's alt-right that specifically follows Trump. The alt-right started as 9/11 truthers who became birthers. They became birthers not because of evidence, but because of a belief that Obama was un-American. Trump became the leader of that movement and MAGA was born.

Trump then joined the presidential race campaigning on a wall to keep out Mexicans responsible for "drugs and crime." That fit in perfectly with his MAGA crowd who thought Obama was un-American basically because of skin color.

If you're going to lump yourself in with that crowd that is responsible for so much hatred and disdain, then you're going to open up yourself to criticism.

Again, I'm just explaining to you where the hatred is coming from. It sounds like you are more interested in resisting than hearing an explanation.

reply

You have no idea whether the "alt-right" started as "9-11 truthers" who became "birthers," out of which "MAGA" was born. That is such a sweeping and generalized statement that lumps a ton of people into one very vague group for which you don't offer any substantial evidence. You're telling me there is "hatred" without citing anything. And it doesn't matter anyway because it's beside the point, and is taking us into the weeds which is where I think you want to be.

I told you, I am MAGA and represent myself (and ONLY myself) and I'm living proof that I didn't arrive at my convictions for the silly reasons you say I did. So what you said about "MAGA" people and why they believe what they believe, isn't true.

A better title for this thread would be, "The curious case of Trump loyalty."

Recently Trump was discovered to have called the fallen troops "suckers" and "losers." This was after he criticized John McCain's military service and insulted a 5 star family.

It has also recently been revealed that Trump knew that the coronavirus was serious, but downplayed that. He also disbanded the agency responsible for dealing with pandemics, as well as pulling our representative out of China, where the virus began.

Further, he has refused to wear a mask until recently, held rallies where masks weren't used, and given out disinformation about a possible vaccine. All this has cost lives.

Trump also called the coronavirus a "hoax." This is the same thing he said about climate change, the greatest threat to the continued existence of humanity (other than nuclear war) that we face. He is endangering the whole world with his stubborn idiocy.

Trump also sought help from foreign countries in winning elections. Specifically, he asked Russia and Ukraine for help. This is forbidden under the Constitution. He was impeached, but republican lackeys in congress refused to vote him out. He has also violated the Hatch Act, and has violated other laws by having his relatives in powerful positions and making money off of being president.

He inherited a strong economy (which had been wrecked by the previous republican administration) and continued to brag about it. Meanwhile, he ballooned the debt by giving huge tax breaks mainly to rich people, and has now led us into the worst recession since the Great Depression because of his inadequate response to the coronavirus.

He has failed to prevent North Korea from further developing nuclear weapo, and has weakened our ability to respond should they begin hostilities against South Korea. He has also cozied up to Kim Jong Un (who has murdered members of his family) and has secret meetings with former KGB Vladamir Putin.

Why remain loyal?

because gangs of stupid punks are rioting and injuring people and destroying property for some gay-ass social justice fabrication that has nothing to do with reality, and Trump has the balls and the muscle to call them out for the criminals they are. That's enough for me.

Because leftists hate him, and I generally hate leftism.

Because so many people can't help themselves from lying with every breath to try and demonize him. A cursory glance at your points: climate change deserves skepticism because it has always been so wrapped up in leftist politics, as well as science not really agreeing on it (ever wonder who funds the IPCC?)

Because what you and everyone else is doing is LYING to me and everyone, twisting shit around and trumping up insignificant things like a few ads on Facebook being connected to an IP in Moscow or Trump having a little locker room talk about the nature of women.

Because I hate passive-aggressive crybully people who twist words around and manipulate things because they have no valid argument. THAT'S why.

Okay kids, welcome to the TDS Zoo. We specialize in helping everyday people like yourselves in understanding what makes our unique animals tick. You will also see some unique traits in all of them that you better never hope to see in your own children when you grow up. Come along now.

Now while our most popular specimen, known as MM or DD is here, I'm afraid we've had to reduce the amount of visitors who can go to the actual compound. He tends to attack the glass and try to bite visitors and really wants to rip them to shreds, particularly at the sight of red hats, regardless of what's written on them. I'm afraid you'll have to watch videos of that one for now. We had to dart him again today.

So instead, we'll bring you to this most recent specimen. Note the juvenile bluejay tatt on its neck. What's awesome about these creatures is, we don't have to do much to capture them. They are found all over the place in their natural habitat: concrete jungles on both coasts of the US. Often all you have to do is lay out some free Starbuck's Premium Coffee or tell them a Trump Rally is going on, and they'll show up and fall for the trap very easily. Still have to dart them, though. They have a tendency to carry crude weapons that aren't guns.

Oh, why can't you hear them? Well....we had to put in sound-proofing in most of these exhibits, because the animals in question like to spew the most toxic sounds out of their mouths, and we didn't want your ears to be poisoned by it. Often they will spew incomprehensible words about the President and his followers, but sometimes they can be coherent, when the mood hits them right. Often they are parrots, always quoting what the lamestream media says about Trump, while never using their own words or spin on things. They always repeat the news, word for word, believing everything that is said as gospel. Such a sad way of living, isn't it?

Take note of this newest specimen. Note how the expression in its eyes changes between dead-looking, wild, and a roaring red rage, often within the span of a few minutes. Note the messy hair and dirty, badly-put together clothes, and the memorabilia for their favorite candidate with a D next to their name. This one apparently likes overdone slogans smeared all over its shirt, and has had the phrase "Orange Man Bad" tattooed to its forehead. Note how it screams about Climate Change, and yet does not make any effort to clean the trash in its own compound.

Now it's time to show you kids a little experiment. Take a look at what happens when we show the specimen pictures of Trump, or the word "MAGA." See? The specimen will screech, throw itself at the picture, and attempt to beat the living tar out of it while foaming at the mouth. Too bad the specimen is too stupid to know it's a picture projected on the stone walls of its home, reminiscent of the filthy cities it tends to frequent. We added used drug needles, trash, and real human poop for authenticity.

If we show it pictures of Obama, it stares in awe and reverence. We get similar results if we show pictures of Mrs. Clinton, though some specimens were indifferent to them. The Biden photos make them cry, or cling to the wall where the picture is projected. The Bernie ones make them either worship it, or spit on it. The males have been known to, ahem, attack the pictures of AOC during certain times of the year.

The reason you kids were brought here, is to see what will happen to you, should you buy into the lies the Left has told you. No matter what you tell yourself "It won't happen to me," or "no way!" if you let them poison your mind, you will end up like these mindless beasts we keep in here. Always remember that next time you hear the various lies the lamestream news tells you. We have guides for you to take home to watch for certain catchphrases and favorite myths the apes on the tv screen and social media love to tell. Have a great day kids, and thanks for coming!
