Did God make them judge and jury?

reply

I would hope not!!!

This is more about the media.

reply

no,
but isn't it a bit weird seeing Floyd's name & likeness raised up high by so many people completely unaware that he was a life-long criminal & online porn actor?

reply

While everyone is not a perfect person, and his past criminal history has largely been suppressed, they have definitely used this man for their purposes. They've elevated him as if he was a superior being just because of the way he died. Did you see that nauseating memorial yesterday? Al Sharpton?!!!🀒 It was more like a rally. Even his own memorial wasn't about George. Are they going to air the funeral too on Tuesday (so they can show that Quid Pro Quo Basement Biden is there?!)
Some politicians and celebrities deaths/funerals don't get this kind of public "memorial celebration."

If I were Floyd's family I would not be happy that they were using him. But I guess they agree with him being used for the "greater good."

reply

Speaking of nauseating - that would be you and your post.

You are such a very sick person. You really need help.

You're sore because I'm exposing truths.

If Doggiedaddy says you are messed up...then there is no doubt you’re doing the right thing.

Wonder if the television media ran any stories about his past? I’m guessing not, because their station would be burned down by the β€œpeaceful protesters.”

David Dorn. David Dorn. David Dorn.

reply

"If Doggiedaddy says you are messed up...then there is no doubt you’re doing the right thing."

BINGO! That's when you know.

Not any that I know. My mom who listens to talk radio (doesn't have cable, not that it matters because there aren't really any news stations for conservatives) and she said she hasn't heard much about his criminal record! She didn't know about him holding a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach. So even conservative radio is suppressing stuff.

And before you leftists who read this thinks she listens to Rush, the answer is no.

DAVID DORN. DAVID DORN. DAVID DORN!!!!!

reply

If sutty is backing you up, then you know you wrote a very sick, hateful post.

Still no David Doran tasteless jokes to share yet ? It must be hard restraining yourself on this forum.

reply

I've never read anything sut wrote that was offensive or wrong. It's about you not handling the truth or being honest.

Why would I make jokes about Dorn? I'm sickened over his senseless killing. You see, he is the actual description of AN INNOCENT BLACK MAN! Where's your sympathy for him or his family?

DAVID DORN!
DAVID DORN!
DAVID DORN!
Say his name!

reply

What the heck does his past have to do with the injustice at the way he died?? You are a very sick person. Based on your mentality, someone is acting justifiably for killing you.

reply

You’re right, it doesn’t have anything to do with the injustice of the way he died. The way he died was very wrong, as I’ve said MANY times, which people such as yourself never seem to hear or comprehend because you’re just out to vilify everyone you can and call them racists.

Cities are being burned down for this man, businesses destroyed, innocent people killed and injured in the name of this man. In my opinion, I think it’s relevant to know some of his backstory. Maybe like his arrest for armed robbery and holding a gun to a woman’s stomach? It doesn’t change the way he died, but it definitely makes me feel differently about what kind of person he may have been.

How does half of America feel about Christopher Columbus now after his backstory has changed over the years? They hate his guts, it doesn’t matter that he discovered America.

Did George Floyd deserve to die the way he did? Once again...absolutely not. That doesn’t change that he might not have been the angel the media and celebrities have been making him out to be. Yet there was an innocent African American retired police captain gunned down in one of Floyd’s protests that will not get a sliver of the coverage that Floyd gets...like he doesn’t matter, and that bothers me immensely.

So I am a very sick person??? Let’s get one thing straight...you don’t know a goddamn thing about me, and maybe if people didn’t rush to judge everything said and attack everyone at the drop of a dime and use just a tiny bit of logic...maybe communication in this country wouldn’t be so shitty right now.

I am against the unjustified murder of any people, of ANY race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. If you are too, then there shouldn’t be a problem. Wanting to know the backstory on someone doesn’t mean I justify anything.

The question might be, what other things do you want to keep swept under the rug while America burns???

reply

Businesses aren't being burned down for this man, you IDIOT. People are protesting injustices that have existed in the US for decades. Thank you for showing the ignorance of the American people who "don't get it".

reply

Yes they are. Are you not watching the news? You can’t pick and choose what retaliations are in the name of George Floyd or not. If he hadn’t been killed, none of these other incidents would have happened. More innocent people wouldn’t have been hurt or killed, buildings would still be standing, etc. So yeah, whether you like it or not, all of this chaos has been done in George Floyd’s name. I’m not blaming him, it’s the police officer who killed him, and the protesters who decided to graduate to arson, looting, and murdering. You can’t pick and choose this shit...it’s right in front of you.

And I guess according to people like you, burning down police stations and businesses, looting, and murdering innocent people like David Dorn...who had NOTHING to do with this...is going to cure racism. Sure.

You β€œdon’t get it.” Fucking liberal snob. This country is circling the drain right now because of people like you. 99% of people want racism gone...I say again...99% OF PEOPLE WANT RACISM GONE...but people like you would rather choose to insult everyone else, instigate them, and tell them they β€œdon’t get it” instead of engaging in a positive discussion. Are you black??? If not, then you don’t get it either! You just want to hop on the social justice parade of the moment so you can feel better about yourself. No white people know what it’s like to feel racism that black people deal with.

So why don’t you go let off some steam and go burn down someone’s business or bludgeon them with a 2x4 like in Rochester, NY. Because, you know...that’s how we defeat racism.

Other than that, hopefully we never speak again on this site. Good luck β€œsolving” all of the world’s problems, because hey, you know it all. Be sure to be extra obnoxious while you try...that shouldn’t be a problem for you.

reply

What the heck is wrong with you????

reply

Knowing that there are people like you out there. Have a nice day.

reply

It was announced as a private event, only for family and friends but three major news outlets covered it in its entirety, so the rest of the world was there anyway. (eye-roll) Ben Crump has also been quite a grandstander during the past several days. Yup, plenty of demagoguery going on at that service.

reply

Do you know what other news outlets aired it? I'm only aware of Fox News. πŸ™„

They're just putting on a show. This has zero to do with Floyd.

Tuesday will be the same thing I'm sure.

reply

MSNBC & CNN (of course!).

I've also been making the same observations as you, that Floyd appears to have become deified. The above named outlets have been referring to the site of his death in the street as "hallowed ground". Watching this continue to unfold, I feel like I'm seeing the Bizarro World I used to read about in my Superman comics as a kid.

reply

I figured but didn't want to assume because I could see ABC or NBC breaking into broadcasting over it. πŸ™„

Yes, I find it upsetting because it should be a private time with the family, not another circus for their propaganda.

Hallowed ground πŸ™„πŸ€’

Yep, we are living in upside down land!

reply

T-rump is a lifelong criminal, and his wife has a past porn career (that's wife number 3 for those keeping count). Do you find it a bit weird that their names and likeness are raised up high by the Republican party - those aware and unaware ?

reply

I'd like to see bodycam footage to find out what happened in the vehicle. He could have had a medical emergency or he could have become violent. If he was violently resisting, that would explain why the officers pinned him down. The officers did call an ambulance due to his medical situation so the bodycam might reveal more details. I saw Floyd fall down a couple of times on the way to the car.

If I were on the jury, I would acquit the cop on murder if Floyd was violently resisting or had a medical emergency since it wouldn't be proven that the cop's chokehold caused Floyd's death. I do think the cop should have been suspended or fired for the knee on the neck.

reply

2 sides to every story but the court of public opinion.....

reply

"I'll say it again. What happened to Floyd was WRONG!"

Having to say it (again) means you probably don't believe your own words.

reply

Why? The right on this board keeps being accused of not caring that Floyd died or that we think it was horrible.
I feel the need to keep putting in this disclaimer with such posts. I don't expect everyone to read every thread to know this.

Don't speak for what I believe. I've been very up front about it since day one.

reply

Having to say it (again) means you probably don't believe your own words.

EXACTLY!!! No one believes her bullshit for one second. She's the biggest racist on this forum.

Must have really hit a nerve with you. πŸ˜₯
You can dish it (πŸ’©) out, but you can't take it (truth).

reply

When you post the honest truth (and not the infamous 'alternate truth' which T-rumpanzees toss around) backed up with real facts, and I will take it.

Check the boards!
I came forward EARLY to say what I thought of Floyd's killing!

I've been consistent.

reply

I'll first say that it's sad that George Floyd had to die at all. This is not how arrests involving fake money usually turn out.

I find much of what happened somewhat fishy. Some parts of the story don't make any sense at all. So this guy attempts to buy some stuff with a fake $20 bill (which is a crime, no matter who does it), and yet they have four cops come in, including one that had been let off by a corrupt judge for police brutality three times, to handle this situation. George was not armed, but was resisting arrest. I heard that the cops had already cuffed him, and were telling him to get in the car, when he panicked and threw himself on the ground. Now I agree that leaving one's knee on top of a guy for 9 minutes was wayyyy too long, and why the heck did they need all 4 guys to hold one man down, just to "calm him down?" That, and the cop who pinned him refused to listen when George complained that he "couldn't breathe."

Why did they need 4 cops to deal with one, lone, unarmed guy? 1 cop could have easily taken care of this problem, and preferably not the one with police brutality issues. They should have fired that guy a long time ago.

There are some parts of this story that don't make sense at all. Does anybody know any other details?

reply

They're not going to tell the public, especially if it puts Floyd in a bad light since they've already labeled him a martyr.

I heard he was trying to buy cigarettes with a fake $20. The guy at the store knew it was fake. Whether or not George knew, who knows? The cops were called, he walked out of the store empty handed.

Video 1
He gets arrested. They walk him over to the wall of a building. He tries to sit, they make him stand. Cop car is right there but the cop starts leading him across the street, which I found puzzling. Then they're out of camera view.

Video 2
Now 4 cops involved.
Cop is already on the neck. This video doesn't show the other 2 cops until the end. George says he can't breathe, calls out for his dead mama. A good 5-6 minutes goes by, pulse checked but I don't think you can hear the remark. He had already been still for a while. Ambulance shows up, no sign of life. Police walk away.
Throughout this, onlookers are recording and complaining about what's happening. Maybe someone at that point should have called 911 to report these cops immediately but hindsight is always 20/20.

Video 3
You see the other angle of the police car with 3 cops on Floyd.

Video 4
This video surfaces after everyone has already lost their minds. They also claimed there was no struggle. In this video, it does look like there is one.

I even heard he was delusional (too much fentanyl and meth?)

Too many pieces of the puzzle missing.

But the court of public opinion has already decided they're all GUILTY.

I also heard that the other white cop, it was his 4th day on the job. Another, it was his straight 3rd shift. If these reports are correct.

reply

After watching cop shows and those forensic shows all these years, I'm not falling for the court of public opinion's conclusion. Something happened that wasn't caught on video, and right now, nobody's telling the public how this situation escalated so bad. Something's up, and it all sounds very suspicious to me.

reply

AmeriGirl, I completely agree.
But when a case gets mega media attention, it can turn a case on its head and sometimes the outcome is questionable for different reasons.
