Worse than I remember
Mickey Rourke's acting wasn't that good.
It's a nice looking movie, but the plot is really lame.

These Israelis are a blight on humanity. They even laughed and jeered in the soccer stadium during a minute of silence for Spanish victims of a flood just because the Spanish government won't sell Israel weapons. Israel has no friends and would turn on anyone who doesn't do everything they want.
I thought he overdid the comedy. It's like the actors were playing it as a comedy whereas the first one they played it as a horror movie with zombies doing the comedy. Weiderhorn wanted to make his 1977 movie Shock Waves a comedy, too, but the people paying for it wanted a straight horror movie.
I’m sure his assistants own them. A lot of wealthy people don’t have personal computers or phones. They hire people to use them for them.
If so, I still don't like the premise that it's all just for the amusement of Cyphre.
I'm just going by Christian theology that says dabbling in the black arts is one of the three unpardonable sins to God. So simply conjuring Lucifer will damn a soul. Most folklore about selling souls has the devil making an unsolicited call.
A lot of people blame it on his boxing career, but it's obviously bad plastic surgery. Boxing doesn't mess up a face like that.
That’s just like the Tobe Hooper version. It got a theatrical release in Europe, but straight to TV in the U.S.
It sounds bad to me. Even the best Stephen King can say about it is it’s a “slow burn.” In other words, probably boring.
