Worse than I remember

I just watched this on Amazon Prime and it's worse than I remember from its HBO days. I know the theatrical version is very different from the video release, but the way they obviously added in the zombies saying "brains!" when their lips aren't even moving is so bad. Like the studio added it in later. I don't remember them saying "brains!" on earlier cuts of the film. Is this the original theatrical version on streaming or the later VHS cut?

The zombies don't even move fast like in the original movie. These are more like slow moving shamblers and not as much as a threat.

The only good thing about this movie is James Karen and Thom Mathews are back, but their acting was poor. Like they didn't care.
