I think the TIK TOK KIDS are wrong.
I think it's a good sequel. Even with the puppets and God Damn it. And the blue screen. And Michael Biehn.
Also the cat.
And the little girl in the tunnel.
I'm like you...I've over 55 and I miss the age of the blue screen.

Yes, the puppets are annoying. BUT...

But these daytime talk show used to be 'cheap' to produce.

I don't agree with JoWilli at all on almost anything. But I do agree with the initial post.
It's also interesting to see Bob Casey in PA and how nobody on the left or right seems to be paying much attention the 'recount' race.
I think it's considered a success, because nobody thought this movie would be make 4 or 5 million much less get a theatrical release.
And I'll also add, outside the political polarizing environment, Reagan isn't as sexy Nixon or JFK.
Reagan is most popular for the two landslide elections and Iran-Contra.
People who don't like Reagan would add, Aids and the Crack epidemic.
People on the right who like Reagan would add, the Soviet Empire defeat.
But I think what's he most famous for was the two elections and Iran-Contra.
That isn't resigning or being assassinated. Both of which are obviously now in 2024, shocking.
Also, the reviews were terrible.
From what I read, the budget was 20-25 million.
