You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy
It's probably inevitable that Godzilla will fight at least one other monster in this new film. I just hope it retains the same quality as far as the human characters go. Minus One was such a moving story.
Yamazaki seems like quite the purist, so that would be kind of cool if Anguirus became the first opposing monster of this universe as well.
Quentin also loves A Fistful of Dollars.. which I'm sorry, but that movie is terrible.
Then don't pay. Being mean spirited and choosing not to consume certain products or entertainment are two entirely different things
It's a version of The Penguin that exists in the world of "The Batman" (2022). Or, the Batman Epic Crime Universe or whatever Matt Reeves called it.
Yes, there is definitely a lot of truth to that. I've always said that Joker should have just been released with a different title and just been about a guy who struggles with mental health. It's a great movie, but not necessarily a great Joker movie.
Penguin seems to be akin to Joker so far, but there's a possibility it will become more synonymous with the DC Comics Penguin as it builds its' world.
Both of y'all need to try the new McCereal & Milk from McDonald's. Oh my god, it is so good
Blankman is a super underrated movie and it desperately needs a Blu-Ray release!
I was hoping they would leave the details of Ben's marriage and child ambiguous and I'm glad they did! It made the film all the more powerful. You can't help but wonder what all went down to lead Ben down this path.
You're missing out then, because this is a great film. Great story, great performances.
The score is terrific! This movie is an underrated gem for sure.
I think the point is that they all lose in the end. Marion might be the only one smiling, but at what cost? She had to subject herself to horrible things to get drugs. And then how long before she has to do it again? How long before she ends up in jail, or the hospital like the others? How long before they're all dead? It's basically a game that nobody ever wins.
Geez, people are mean spirited these days. Just have the best life ever, y'all, it's not that hard to do
I give this movie a 99/100 because of that dumb line as well. Just keep that crap out of the mix. I go to the cinema to hear anything other than politics for a change. Now instead of being timeless, The Batman will always have a big giant "early 2020s" stamp on it
Which is surprising, because he seems to enjoy calling out Disney for being the money-hungry scoundrels they are.
I always wished they would have just played it straight. I agree that the whole "trying to pass it off as real" thing is stupid
I saw The Interview on Christmas Day in 2015 or '16, whatever year it came out. It's nice and warm and cozy in the theater with your loved ones during the holidays, you should try it.
Wow. A decade!? That went by fast.. I guess I'll give it a rewatch now that I know it's been that long, and I just found out about the sequel. Saw this in the theater twice, I remember absolutely loving it
Going to the movies in the 2010s may not have been as great of an experience as it was in the 70s-90s, but I have some great memories, Popstar being one of my favorites. This movie was slept on, and that always shocked me.
I want this movie to ignore the events of 5 and 6. Anyone else down with that?
