I just rewatched it on a flight. Thank you Delta! I knew it would be the best choice for eating up those boring hours on a long flight. Such an absorbing film. You’re right the non-linear timeline makes it interesting, and makes you think as you put the pieces of the puzzle together with Smiley.

Why do you focus in on that? Even back in Shakespeare’s day, men would play women and pasty British white guys got to play Othello.
I watched a talented group of actors tell an interesting story. I like the movement against typecasting. It allows talent to rise and actors to develop their craft. I am a big fan of community theater where ensembles of diverse actors put on great plays. It’s impressive to see actors show such range.
I thought so too. Entertaining and well acted.
It reminded me of “slapping the bass” from I Love You Man.

A little disappointed that this version only slightly varied from the original ending. I thought the murder scene seemed a little too impulsive. Plus the cover up was hard to buy after Rusty seemed so convinced of his own innocence all along. Overall, it was good. Top notch acting. Maintained a brooding atmosphere which made it stylistically interesting too.
I liked it too. The negotiations got a little confusing at some point, but it was still intriguing.
