Yeah, Jerry in the whole, slapping his hand on the table shtick really gets old pretty quick. He’s usually doing it with a silent laugh too. It makes me think that he’s basically just being polite and faking it. The Ricky Gervais episodes were my favorite. And I think Jerry agrees with with me because Gervais was the only comedian to get three episodes. One single episode and one double episode. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that myself. But you know the way Jerry is. He doesn’t like anybody being able to predict what he’s gonna do or how he feels about any subject matter. You can tell by all the interviews that he’s done. The interviewer almost always tries to put Jerry into a corner somehow and Jerry pretty much always contradicts the notion. As a joke, maybe? I hadn’t seen this movie in 30 years and I just re-watched it today. The feet licking scene was pretty much the strongest memory I had about this film and when I saw it today, it made me cringe so hard. Probably just as much as it made me cringe 30 years ago. You gotta hand it to Waters. He really knows how to make an impact… at least on me. Kind of reminds me of the dog poo eating scene in pink flamingos. 🦩 I think they were friends in real life I haven’t seen the movie in 20 years. Cut me some slack, AK. same I came here to see if anyone else got lesbian vibes like I did. The Conversation they have when they first met playing chess completely took me out of the movie. It was so contrived and awkward. Then when they became two ghosts together, they were almost kissing their heads were so close together! I mean their lips were like maybe 1 foot away from each other. It seemed pretty obvious to me, but again I came here to see if I was crazy or if anybody else caught the same thing that I did. Where is the watch party? I’d argue none of it really makes sense. Or at the very least most of it doesn’t make sense. I love the first five seasons of this show and I didn’t hate season six but like I said in other threads that I’ve made about this show, season six’s storylines are thin at best. Maybe I’m just getting tired of the show in general? That tends to happen to me quite often with shows that are beloved by many people. It basically happens to me with almost every show. But the karate kids part one and two are some of my favorite movies of all time so needless to say I love this television series as well. I just find season six to be not only thin in the storylines but also reaching very far and wide in order to continue the series. I don’t know if they’re gonna do this still but they were talking about doing a World War II prequel style TV series or possibly movie about Mr. Miyagi. I really hope they don’t do that because that sounds awful. The world doesn’t need any more World War II content. You’re kind of proving my point. Tori‘s character arc doesn’t make any sense and season six’s storylines are pretty thin. It would’ve made more sense if Tori ran away from home, crying and quit karate than what actually happened on the show. Daniel wasn’t saying that Tori couldn’t be captain, he was just saying she shouldn’t spar while under such distress. Otherwise she would have no balance, and it would go against the Miyagi way of training. Like I said earlier in this thread, this new Tori character arc just seems kind of thin to me. Unless I missed the part where the LaRussos told her she couldn’t go to the competition at all. OK, I can get behind the nepotism idea. I can get behind Kreese using psychology to trick Tory. This theory makes sense to me. The whole sparring match that lead up to this event still seems strange to me though. People seem to think that the LaRusso’s were stopping Tori from Entering the competition. It’s possible I missed something, but all I saw the LaRussos do was stop the sparring match, which was supposed to find the winner who would become the team captain of the girls team. They never said “you can’t join the tournament“! I reread my last post and realized that I wasn’t making myself clear. Basically I can’t log into my old Internet movie database account because I lost that information. a long time ago. At one point, I used to read the old thread that I made about human centipede part one and get a kick out of the replies that people replied to my original post. But now since I don’t know my password anymore, I can’t make that trip down nostalgia Lane anymore. I think I’m OK just sticking here to this website. There’s really only one person that pisses me off all the time but they seem to be not around so much anymore or maybe I’ve blocked them without remembering if that’s even possible to do on this website I’m not sure. Maybe I missed this, but I don’t remember Daniel or Daniel‘s wife saying that Tori couldn’t enter the tournament. The only thing the LaRusso’s held her back from was just that one sparring match to determine who the leader of the girls team was going to be. There’s only two taboo words left in the english-speaking, world. And both of them can be said by certain people without raising an eyebrow. Everybody’s dad has penis breath, retard. It would not be balanced because Tori didn’t do her kata beforehand so she would be too angry to make mature decisions. Instead, she would be implementing the strike, hard, strike first, no mercy, discipline. In other words, she would be the bad girl and not the good girl.
