That’s what adds to the tragedy of the story, in other circumstances she would have let the guy live, but due to years of suffering at the hands of terrible people she let her emotions and anger take control and pulled the trigger in a split second decision. They were forever doomed from that moment on. Everyday a lot of people are battling against that same decision. The Animals Them I would take the millions and then invest some of it in anti-smoking lobbies to gain karma. I thought it was worth watching in theaters, but it could have done with tighter editing and more concise dialogue. A lot of art movies these days feel unnecessarily padded to extend the runtime. Did we really need a 5 minute tracking shot of the guy riding the horse? I also didn’t care for Alicia Vikander’s character or the cartoon fox. However, the final act made it worth it in a surprise twist. I’d give it 7/10 The one at the back looks like the dude from Simply Red Meet the new boss Same as the old boss Maybe it was a precognitive foretelling of how Disney would eventually own Indiana Jones. I used to think he should be forgiven, until I found out a bunch of other women had come forward saying he had sexually assault or raped them decades ago, and now I realize he’s a sick f*ck who should serve prison time or other reparations to his victims. Acting out the scenes where he French kisses his son would be awkward though
He didn’t scan the planet’s surface from orbit
Actually they did scan the planet in a deleted scene, they determined its atmosphere, size, rotation, and gravity which meant they could walk on the surface. This scene was restored in the director’s cut when they listen to the transmission. I’d say the entire last 30-40 minutes from the moment the Aliens attack the control room to the final fight with the Queen on the ship is the ultimate, non-stop rollercoaster third act thrill ride in cinema history. It was more realistic in the first movie when the Alien gets ejected out the airlock, Ripley actually put on a compression suit and strapped herself in. But I’ll be damned if the one in Aliens wasn’t a cool and iconic scene all the same. Probably because Blade is dark, violent, rated R and is more of a cult movie. Whereas Black Panther is more accessible and grossed a billion dollars and was nominated for Oscars/whatever. It’s called the post-modern world. I mean, he’s not wrong lol Mellish was a weaselly little fellow, the SS guy seemed buffer and more bear-like, he easily overpowered him when the other guy was on top of him, it was a lost cause anyway. Discount Ben Affleck. The other guy was simply bigger and stronger, but Mellish ironically doomed himself by pulling out the knife in the first place Didn’t Bowie sleep with an underage girl too? Granted, she was a groupie and he didn’t drug her or anything, but she was 15. Since when was that ever a credible reason for waging war. So we stopped the Nazis and the Japanese just so that the Soviets and Chinese could go on to wage countless atrocities anyway against even more people. It wouldn’t have mattered anyway because the US would have obliterated Japan and Germany with atomic bombs even if they had conquered all of Europe and Asia.
