Movie isn't horrible. BUT I don't like the agenda they tried to push. Aliens being homo and aliens becoming human. Can't humans have our own thing and it be good enough without needing to make everything/everyone human

It certainly is different and unique. And I'm sure if i lived through something like that then id enjoy the Shakespeare plays. But as a show, i plan to try the next season. Hopefully its more like the last 2 episodes.
I thought first episode was decent. Then a ton of boring garbage. Then last 2 episodes were pretty decent. Not great, but decent to watch.
I didn't like the whole travelling symphony performing Shakespeare they were cramming down our throats. Not my cup of tea so I'm probably being a bit harsh.
I agree that they didn't execute everything or well

Update after last 2 episodes:
I will admit the final 2 episodes got much better. Enough I'll give 2nd season a try i think. Still not a great show, but as long as start of season 2 stays the course of these last 2 episodes, then its ok enough to watch.
Not many people that know me call me common. Your pretty common for a discussion board though. It's ok your confused. Maybe your trying too hard.

Barely watchable by ep 5 & 6.
I thought the wheels were coming off way before ep. 6 or 7. Im just gunna finish the season out. Maybe it'll turn out better somehow
My only gripe is no one stopped them from making the show to begin with. That's where the idea needed to be stopped.
I don't find the sequels as garbage. And the cash grabbing reference is for any movie. 1st or sequel. I hate that reference cuz its just unneeded hate.
If we go by a majority, then you should've use the fast & furious franchise. Now the first couple sequels weren't loved by fans, but crikey, these last few seem to be loved by fans, but are total garbage.
I understood what you meant and understand your human. I really didn't like the entire swarm thing at end.
If people don't believe in god, just bring them to a discussion forum. There are so many gods in them it'll make any non believer a believer.
Never saw trailer, but got 15 minutes into movie before stopping it. I use to never stop movies. I'll squirm through them just so i can actually comment them fully. Maybe cuz I'm older now I'll tend to shut off before wasting time.
Your point is as true as true can be. Its unfortunate that society is this way.
When black panther came out and did great, there was sooooo much emphasis on it being a great movie for people of color. About finally a big budget movie is mostly people of color. The movie was pretty dang good, idk why we had to emphasize in that direction.
I wish people wouldnt see or use color for anything. The best should win no matter color.
I didn't watch every movie that was out this year, but from the movies i watched Will Smith was by far the best.
Who else in what movie had a great performance this year?
I thought the movie started out trying to hard to up the first movie. They over did and forced what was good in first movie. I didn't like the beginning because of this. But it got better and became a decent sequel.
Can you share why a total fail?
People have less expectations on ghostbusters i think. And so many people had huge expectations for matrix sequels and when their expectations of the movie direction didn't go their way they got overly disappointed and it put a big stain on matrix in peoples minds

A few good guys died, but no one in main or secondary cast. Was just background good guys.
Even in original trilogy as each movie went, they stopped running from agents. First thing we learned in first matrix about agents, was to run. I get why Morpheus in first movie fought agent, but all other times, they stopped to fight instead of run.
I could get onboard Trinity is stronger than before. And Neo is stronger with her around, just not her being fully the same as Neo. Or stronger than him. We really don't know yet if she's as strong or stronger. Kinda looked like stronger by what they showed. But maybe just equal.
The reason people get their mind blown on first movies vs sequels is because they never seen the movie before, nor had any thoughts on the story before.
One huge problem with the matrix sequels is people had their own idea how the sequels should go, and when they didn't, they were disappointed. I've talked to and read many peoples thoughts on sequels to come, then sequel comes and it wasn't what they expected, so now the disappointed responses.
I try to never expect on sequels. It really helps, but doesn't always work. Alot of sequels are bad.
I didn't try to expect from avengers infinity wars & endgame, but because I've read those comics, i sorta naturally expected some stuff from them. I didn't necessarily like their direction with the movies. I still enjoyed them, but i did have some disappointed thoughts/moments.
