Actually, there is a wealth of evidence from the other Beatles, musicians, studio engineers (incl. George Martin) and critics who have heard best's 60-odd drumming tracks with the band, as well as his/Ringo and Andy White's versions of 'Love me Do' as in the two sessions with Martin.
