I didn't know this website existed until recently, but better late than never. I can't edit my original posts but I can still bump these now for hopeful additional activity and update my own list. While I am being somewhat cheeky with that particular comment, I do believe all the things I said about the film back then have turned out true. Regardless of all that, this post is still partly in jest so no need to take it too seriously. These topics were my babies back in the day. Updates: 1971- Animal Treasure Island 1973- Charlotte's Web I'm pretty sure you don't know me in any way so I'd like some additional explanation of why you feel that way. This is definitely not Disney's worst, not even bottom 10 or close. It has flaws, sure, but it still has far more positives than negative. But let's be honest, anyone who critiques a form of art and brings up the term "SJW' probably shouldn't be taken seriously and needs to grow up. My god, how do people post such nonsense. No...just no. I know this is a super old thread and nobody now will read this, but I felt it necessary to amend my old thoughts on this film. Despite being too short and weirdly cut, this is one of Don Bluth's best. It now competes with An American Tail for my favorite from him and I think it's deserving of all praise it's received. No, the following is the best video. It's obnoxiously long, but it proves without a shadow of a doubt that The Lion King did not rip off Kimba in any capacity. And to show I'm not bias, I'm not even a big fan of The Lion King. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5B1mIfQuo4 No...grow up. I saw it as a kid first and it’s not even in my top 30. For me, it’s more about how many other animated films one has seen than anything else. Coco is my current favorite from that year, but I’m way behind on the foreign and independent scene so that’s subject to change. They were never good in the first place and folded as soon as real competition showed up.
