Even the French had trouble casting Napoleon. He had such an unusual round face with sharp features. You also need a seasoned actor to play him, not a young newcomer chosen for his look only.
Christian Clavier playing him in the 2002 French mini serie:

The closest physical ressemblance was Marlon Brando in Désirée (1954), but it was a romance movie and his voice didn't work at all.

Joséphine is the least interesting thing about Napoleon.
I thought the final shootout was poorly edited. The whole gang crashes thru the windows on their horses, then you see the 2 of the Carradines getting shot at and struggling on their own away from the rest, 3 random shots of an unknown rider jumping over a brick wall and they the gang is back together riding out of town.
More like overrated.
Terrible all around.
Hot in Slums of Beverly Hills.
She has an hairy back.
Not really. She was just one of out many playmates who had photos online in the late 90s.
I'm sure Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra and Jenny McCarthy got way more attention than her.
These are the Hollywood stars now. The'll be in everything.

There was nothing wrong regarding diversity with Survivor seasons 1 to 40.
Black people are 13% of the US population and there was always 2 to 3 black contestants on every season before the new era. Which is roughly 10-16% of all survivors depending on the total amount of players on each season.
Black players also won 4 out of 40 season, so 10% which is not so far from 13%.
As for many things, the perception is skewed and now the supposed "fix" is actually not representative of reality.
She hit the wall fast.

Willis was a TV actor before his big break in Die Hard in 1988.
Great actors are usually older.
I'll take Joaquin Phoenix over Timothé Chalamet as Napoléon even if it sacrifices a bit of realism.
Before Under the Skin, all she did were some sexy scenes where her bits were covered.
Yeah! Right wing nut jobs like Jeremy Jahns!

Scarjo did full frontal nudity in "Under the Skin" 10 years ago. So it's not like this was something everybody was waiting for.
I have seen it. More than once. It sucks.
Gross. Looks like a fat man's moobs.
So Feyd is also completely bald with no eyebrows. Like Rabban, The Baron and all the Harkonnens.
And people mocked Lynch for making them all redheads back in the 80s.
Feyd is supposed to be attractive and close to the final stage of the Bene Gesserit breeding program. He's not supposed to be an ugly freak.
This is what I wrote after watching the new Dune and my opinion hasn't shifted after a second viewing.
"I'm a long time Dune fan, but I also try to put myself in the shoes of someone getting introduced to this universe for the first time.
I liked the movie but It was a bit bland and shallow.
You would think that by aiming for a two parts 5 hours movie, Villeneuve would have been able to show and explain way more than the 1984 movie. How is it that after 2:20 hours we've seen less and know fewer things than in Lynch's version by the time Paul and and Lady Jessica join the Fremen?
The pivotal dinner party, a glaring omission in 1984 Dune, is still not included.
The Harkonnens have way too little screen time and their cruelty is barely on display. The Baron has what? 3 scenes? Feyd is not shown or mentioned. Piter De Vries might well have been a unnamed extra. In fact, mentats are not explained at all and even Thufir disappears after the first hour.
Spacefolding is not shown either.
The music was forgettable. We are miles behind the outstanding 1984's theme."
Now that the casting of the emperor, Feyd, Irulan and the Fenring has been announced for part 2, the absence of these characters in Part 1 will be even more glaring.
Jews were not slaves in Egypt. That's religious fiction, not history.
