Just changed my rating of KFP4. You do have a fair point. Maybe someday someone else can make a movie that explores that issue, but until then, we're stuck with certain media that has girl boss archetypes. I've heard about them and I've seen the Bobsheaux reviews of those. I've only seen Escape from Castle Mountain and Mystery of the Enchanted Treasure only in their entirety. Watching the entirety of that terrible Swan Princess Christmas is the only reason why I haven't watched the later sequels. He's not godawful but he's a little stiffy/bland. However, I'll give him some credit for at least having a character arc which is to appreciate Odette for more than just her beauty. Good to know Because it's a very chilling villain song I bet they enjoyed Poor Unfortunate Souls Definitely. Which is more than I can say for that 100th anniversary movie Wish. God that movie was such a disappointment. Sorry for the late response. The movie is actually bittersweet than just sad. Guess that's true. Probably because Modern Disney has been ruining the company's reputation especially when it come to their 100th anniversary movie Wish Gotta check out that show. First off, I'm not a huge fan of Keegan Michael Key considering his exaggerated sense of humor does annoy me at places especially his other voice role in Toy Story 4. I usually prefer other comedian actors/actresses that have way more subtle humor. Second, the fact that the director of this movie says that it's canon in some ways to the Michael Bay movies made me confused. Like, this movie takes place in Cybertron which is what fans wanted to see and doesn't have human characters that are either unlikeable or obnoxious (with the exception of Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts, the only movies in the franchise that have at least been doing better with that aspect), and terribly written dialogue. My point is, when I was a teenager I used to enjoy the first three live action films mostly for their action sequences and music, but looking back at them now, they're not as good as I remembered them to be. Your review is very good, not gonna lie. To be honest, the trailers were very too MCU-esque in places and would've ruined the film, but upon seeing the movie on the same day it came out, I was also surprised as well. That being said, there are a couple of things I like to point out if that's alright. Good for you. There were some things I liked about Prometheus like the visuals, the music score, and the overall good acting from everyone involved (Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Charlie Theron, and Michael Fassbender giving stellar performances). And yes it had certain good philosophical ideas that are interesting in concept, but considering the movie had deleted scenes that could've fleshed them out, that's what made it all the more terrible the more I thought about it. Covenant, however, was even worse than Prometheus because it took a huge dump on those ideas and tries way too hard to be a redux. Not to mention the CGI on the Xenomorphs wasn't that particularly good. Plus the characters made even more illogical decisions in order to further the story along with the narrative choices (like David the android being responsible for the creation of the Xenomorphs and killing off the Engineers). It's no wonder that movie under-performed. Thanks. I know it's not fair that I didn't actually like Prometheus and Covenant as much as anyone else did, but when the same director of the original Alien wastes good ideas on bland dialogue and one-dimensional characters that make stupid illogical decisions, I consider that a turn off and that's coming from someone like me who actually thought Alien 3 was decent. The theatrical ending is fine. It lacks the spark compared to other Disney endings. I beg to differ. The Hunchback of Notre Dame had better lyrics. Yeah. The slow pacing was one of my main issues with the movie along with the fact that the villain wasn't given enough screentime before he got killed in the climax. Maybe there are some deleted scenes that feature him but we'll see as soon as the Blu-Ray release comes out. We can all agree that this movie doesn't have any cringe MCU-esque humor. Let's be honest, James Cameron lost his spark ever since the first Avatar and is the only reason we have mostly terrible/generic junk especially in the late 2010's/early 2020's. As for the 3rd movie, I seriously doubt that it'll be better than the first two, which were pretty generic anyway.
