Ok, so Arthur Fleck was a delusional psychopath, but he had his reasons as to why he acted the way he did. Also, I doubt we'll get a part 3 anytime soon considering this movie flopped at the box office. In some cases, it does look good (the CGI looks more tolerable than the emotionless lifeless CGI The Lion King remake at least), but unfortunately, it's just mostly retreading the original animated film. Perhaps the reviews would either be mixed-to-positive or just mixed altogether, but only time will tell. Take your time and let me know. and did anyone get terrified of the reprisal of Poor Unfortunate Souls? Because let me tell ya, Jodi Benson's singing in that reprisal gave me chills. 100% agree. First off, thanks for sharing the link. Second, I never thought I'd see the day where I was surprised by a threequel in theaters. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is to the movie franchise what Spider Man No Way Home was to the MCU Spider-Man movie franchise. It understands the fanbase and puts a lot of passion and effort by being more emotional and darker. I understand your opinion. I'm just baffled at the whole idea of MGM/Amazon remaking Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. They'll just probably put no effort into it and just end up being even worse. I suppose you didn't like the original 1968 movie because of it's musical numbers? It's bad enough that Disney is still remaking some of their old animated feature films, but remaking something (which was released in the same decade my parents were born) that flopped but later became popular due to home video sales? Fucking seriously? Fair point. Although everyone will remember the 2003 Broadway musical. Let's face it. The 1990's was a better time when we didn't have as much controversial stuff when compared to the 2010's and 2020's. View all replies >
