And this still holds up as a great start to the Disney Renaissance. Memorable songs, likeable charming characters, beautiful breathtaking animation, and the best Disney villainess since Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.

One of the better Disney animated movies.

Definitely. Which is more than I can say for that 100th anniversary movie Wish. God that movie was such a disappointment.

Yep. I'd let my kids watch it :D Even better, I could play the soundtrack in the house or the car for them to listen to.

I bet they enjoyed Poor Unfortunate Souls

reply

Why would they enjoy that song?

reply

Because it's a very chilling villain song

reply

It does rank pretty high on the "Best Villain Songs" list. Though usually the kiddies like stuff like "Under the Sea," "Part of Your World," "Kiss the Girl," and that one song Ariel sings when her voice is stolen.
