Disagree.. I actually think it's the best. I know ESB is really good too and has one of the best movie scenes ever when Vader tells Luke who he is and it dives deeper into Jedi training but SW has more mystery and intrigue to it and a fabulous ending. But it's so close between the two, on any given day, either one could be considered the best. Give it a rest? I'm not the one that started a thread on this topic. The court made a decision on it but everyone knows he's guilty. >>>That's like believing the rapist instead of the victim.<<< I think you are kidding with this post but in case you're not, total nonsense, Keelai. You honestly think he did nothing wrong? That is crazy.... >>>you believe a black man accused white men of racism so YOU are taking it personally<<< Plenty of black people have come out and have said negative about what Jussie did. Are they taking it personally? Get real, Keelai. You know he did this, he only got off on a technicality. I must be missing something, but who the hell is Daniel? I've seen you say that name a few times in here but I can't figure out who that is. Fact is, Donald Trump is the most persecuted person in America and he's white. Un-fucking-believable that the Smollett idiot is going to get away with this. Sometimes there is no justice in the world. Hardly a witch hunt though. Everyone knows he faked a hate crime. Nahhhh, not curious and if she tried to show it, I would scold her and let her know that is forbidden. lol... Out of curiosity, have you seen that movie The Crying Game? Interesting film, you should check it out. I've thought 'long and hard' about this and "yes" I would do it with Pwinty. But on one condition.. she has to keep her lil dingy covered up. I don't want to see that thing. Needless to say, doggystyle is most likely the only position we would do it in. Of course, if I'm drunk, sky is the limit. After a few drinks, I would pretty much do it with anyone remotely looking like a woman. ;) I thought HOTD season 2 was very good, I liked it a lot. Dune Prophesy might be ok, we'll see how it goes, early reviews look quite positive. Does it pick up after the movie or is it supposed to be a prequel? Woah, are you saying Woody would have shot a nude scene if one of his own kids was doing it? Actually, he wouldn't be the first director to have done it. Several directors have shot nude scenes of their own daughters. I remember watching that scene in Excalibur when Katrine Boorman did a sex/nude scene and thinking... uhhh, did John film a sex scene featuring his daughter?? hmmm, how odd. But still a great movie. But yeah, Woody films have never been all that focused on erotic scenes that require nudity. I think the most sexual film he made was Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex. I can't remember if this film had a nude scene, I think it did. But I do remember there was a giant boob in that movie. LOL! >>>catch the perpetrators ahead of time <<< Sounds like that movie Minorty Report. I'm not a fan of trying to predict crimes, it's a slippery slope. I get it though, violently forcing someone to have sex is a despicable crime. They should be thrown in jail for a very long time for doing that. Especially when the victim is underage. But I just can't agree with entrapping people. I know there is a double standard. I don't condone it, but I can recognize societal differences and why it's like that. Women are not seen as "predators" and probably never will be. The only word I've seen used to describe women that sleep with young guys is "cougar" and that's hardly an insult. As far as them not getting into trouble, I have to disagree there. It's still against the law to sleep with someone that's underage, regardless of what your gender is. Sure, sometimes they get lighter sentences and sympathy from media outlets and whatnot but they do get in trouble for it. Overall, I do think it's very difficult to regulate sexuality, some people are just kinky or adventurous, pervy... whatever you want to call it. I mean, quite recently, western nations shifted away from condemning gays. It wasn't that long ago when we used to put people in jail for being gay. Society is probably shifting somewhat when it comes to May/December relationships. I have to vote for this as the dumbest post of 2024. Congratulations, chumbawampa, you're an idiot. Jackson again?? Damn!! I couldn't tell you for sure whether or not he was pedo but his behavior certainly indicated that he had an interest in young boys. But who knows, he's dead now anyways... But yeah, they did act like a gay couple. I remember that video-clip of Jackson taking him shopping and buying something for him, I cant remember what it was, jewelry maybe? But it seemed more like a guy taking his girlfriend shopping. It was quite bizarre. And that time he sat on Jackson's lap at some concert/award show or some place like that. Again, just odd behavior. But still, this doesn't prove anything, I've had children sit on my lap too and there was nothing sexual about it. So whatever, I think talking about Jackson's "alleged crimes" has reached its expiration date. Ocean77, That video is 33 minutes long. Can you just give us some details?? Female sex offenders is a different topic altogether. In fact, using the word "rape" might not even apply here. lol... Jokes aside, more often than not, they do get a slap on the wrist because women are not seen as aggressors in most cases. It's a matter of viewing women as loving nurturers, whereas, if a man commits a similar act, their viewed as "predators". And probably like 95% of the time, when a woman does this, the sex was consensual. And you have to admit, it's highly unlikely that a woman could in fact "force" herself on someone, even if the kid is like 15 or 16, he's still three or four times stronger than a woman. But no doubt, society seems to be a little more accepting of it. When a woman does it, and it's a high profile case, they seem to get plenty of sympathy from the media and get books and movies produced on their story. Sam, The nazi's thought the same thing. It was called 'eugenics'. They wanted to eliminate "undesirables". The thing is, courts, juries and judges can get verdicts wrong. Plenty of innocent people have been incarcerated and even placed on death row. I despise rapists too but I wouldn't advocate for the "extermination" of all of them for the simple reason that humans can be wrong. Plus, there are various profiles for criminals that commit this type of crime. Some are considered "high risk" to repeat that crime, some are considered "low risk", and some are neither high nor low etc... do we just kill all of them? But yes, genetics has come a long ways since the 40's but I still say genetic engineering wouldn't solve the problem. It's a testosterone driven crime. But, I'm fair and impartial, if you can post a link that indicates science has proven that "rape" is DNA based, I'll take a look at it. I'm sure I'll be waiting a very long time for that link.... Ummm, Sam, there is no way to get rid of all rapists. Men are susceptible to committing this act because of testosterone levels. The male sex drive can be extremely high. Although, you could make a pretty good argument that rape is solely a violent act used to control and manipulate the victim but for the most part, the male sex drive is what fuels this crime. Race doesn't really have anything to do with it either. Every race has their fair share of rapists. I'd like to think that exterminating people for committing this type of crime would solve it but no... it won't. I can feel your pain, Keelai. It must be really tough to be half native American and half black. You've got to look over your shoulder all the time to make sure a white man is not chasing you. In hindsight, you could come up with a dozen reasons why they lost. I just wasn't expecting it to be such a blowout. I think the real problem for the dems is not so much that they lost this election, but rather, they are seriously losing ground with young voters and future young voters. A lot them are just not feeling the woke movement. Somehow, Trump has become like a "rebel president" in their eyes and it's resonating with young people more than the left realizes. But anyhow, Trump used social media to win this election. While Kamala's team knocked on doors and spent a fortune on TV ads, Trump's team heavily used media outlets to gain votes. It was just a better strategy than what the dems did. The big question is, how do you spend a billion dollars and lose an election?? Well, we saw it happen. Trump campaign knew they couldn't out spend'em so they used the next best thing, the media and I kind of think that's why she lost. Regardless, here's an article on how much of a difference young voters made in 2024 - https://www.npr.org/2024/11/07/g-s1-33331/unpacking-the-2024-youth-vote-heres-what-we-know-so-far He'll be remembered for his gaffes for sure, kind of like Bush Jr. Not sure anyone could be worse than W though. Although, his legacy is what it is, his worst gaffe happened on the debate stage and this in some way, handed Trump the presidency, a man he thinks is Hitler and his supporters are "garbage". Either way, he'll fade into obscurity never to be thought of again. Shame really, because he is actually a very likeable person when he's not crapping all over himself. He reminds me of Ed Bloom; the character from that movie Big Fish. Great movie too, it's worth watching if you haven't seen it. Every president has faced unique challenges, somehow Biden just didn't quite succeed when he was put in tough situations. His lasting legacy could very well be "choke artist".
