its called spending priorities. I love how conservatives never apply the "free stuff" and "socialism" label when it coms to corporate handouts and massive military spending.
how horrible that bernie wants to implement things that will protect and help American workers and the middle class so America becomes a meritocracy and real capitalist country again not a corpratocracy

Meh id say it was never as democratic as a parliamentary system. But over the years (centuries in the making) the corporate claws in the system have made it so all three branches constantly serve and rule in favor of corporations and the wealthy. The USA has consistently further and further slid into an indirectly controlled Oligarchy where the rich nd elite rule in all but name.
I didn't make that point about the executive (even if it may be true)
My point is that when tension in the system (citizens angry about issues) cant have that pressure released from the system. and hence they become frustrated. If I don't like one party in my country, I have 5 others I can vote for who can represent me.

Yes your family fought bravely and probably died. more than should have. because the US government and corporations wanted to keep profiting for as long as they could without getting directly involved. Not sure what your point is.. yes I want us involvement in ww2... are you confused?

I wouldn't go that far. I think past presidents stayed within the norms and conventions (for the most part) for a good reason which all democracies have.
Trump is simply using and abusing and pushing what he can get away with to the very extreme and lines. Americas democracy is incredibly weak as of late
while the usa sat back and refused to do anything.. if you let a small fire keep burning beside a house. while having more then enough water to put it out. But you let it get bigger and bigger and still stand there then sell the owners some water so they can try and manage the fire. then only once the fire gets too close to your house, you step in once their house has completely burned down then lend them money at a cost to build a new house.
