The series started going downhill in season 3 by gradually taking most of the spunkiness out of Rose Leslie's Maia Rindell and writing her and Roland Blum (Michael Sheen) moving to Washington D. C., so it was only bound to continue with the trend of certain cast members leaving, no surprise there, and to think that first two seasons were awesome, Rose Leslie was one of the shining young stars of the show in its beginning, alongside Sarah Steele (Marissa Gold) and Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), the three girls were an excellent trio in a way...
I remember renting the movie on VHS in December 2001, a few months after it appeared in video stores (July), and when I saw the scene I was like 'What the f*ck?!?'... I barely held myself from bursting out laughing loudly, the speech sounded like 'Haraawe Seinar! Mortha'gaa Heinaekaar Jaah!' sounding like an angry 6-year old speaking those words... Ridiculous to the bone!

Yes, I am GoT-lite, as you said, first and foremost I went with physical appearances of the actors from the original Dune movie and at first I thought of Aidan Gillen as Dr. Yueh, but then Count Fenring came to mind...
I guess that opinion differs from person to person, 5 of them is not too many to me...
