A remake that SHOULD be done. Let's cast one!
Today, unlike in 1976, it would be entirely feasible to make a movie based on the book At the Earth's Core, by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Some love the 1976 film, some hate it, some don't care. But the truth is, the technology just wasn't there.
Now it is. The vast horizonless expanse of timeless Pellucidar can now be shown in all it's breathtaking glory. Since Jurassic Park, it's been obvious that yes, you can make realistic dinosaurs in a movie. The Discovery Channel and affiliates have made it obvious that saber-toothed cats, mastodons, pterodactyls, and so on are also available for the cast of creatures.
That just leaves us with the cast of humans. Who might you suggest for...
David Innes: ?
Abner Perry: ?
Dian the Beautiful: ?
Ghak the Hairy: ?
Ja: ?
And an extra special casting call for Tarzan At The Earth's Core: Emma Watson as Jana, the Red Flower of Zoram.
