Hey there people I'm Bobby Brown, they say I'm the cutest boy in town. My car is fast, my teeth are shiny, I tell all the girls they can kiss my heinie. I mean I wouldn't say ruin it, but at first they did definitely get in the way. once you get used to it/look past (I kinda stopped really noticing by the end of the first episode) it doesn't cross your mind. I think it would've been perfect to have the show in Russian and Ukrainian with subtitles but we can't get everything and you really do stop noticing. Personally, I think the show is amazing but the accents bugged the hell out of me when I first started it. No, you can buy kangaroo meat at a lot of butchers and even major supermarkets. You can even find it on pizza's, I've heard a place in Canberra has a "Coat of Arms" pizza with kangaroo and emu meat on it. I've had it many times, I actually quite enjoy it. I thought for sure I was about to be rickrolled. I already own them all but here would be my top 12. Got a bit hard at time especially near the end because other than the ones think are great a lot, to me in my subjective opinion, are fairly similar in quality. That and it has been a while since I have some of them so even by my own standards I wouldn't consider this my definitive ranking of my top 12 Bond. From Russia With Love Goldfinger On Her Majesty's Secret Service Dr. No Live and Let Die GoldenEye You Only Live Twice Thunderball The Living Daylights The Spy Who Loved Me Tomorrow Never Dies Spectre I can respect that, personally I liked Casino Royale, albeit not on my first viewing (although I was quite young then), but none of the films after that, with the partial exception of Spectre which I think beyond some of the more ridiculous elements of the plot (especially the forced elements to link it to the prior films) I think it had at least a little bit of fun in it. Part of the reason I have disliked the recent string of releases is because I feel he hasn't grown as a character all that much in 4 films, which is much worse when you consider they set up a whole new continuity with an overarching storyline specifically for these films and turned the clock back to zero. Out of all the Bond's this version should have the most change and growth. Given that one film of gritty action I can buy, two I will tolerate but three I can't do and something tells me they're even going to do it again. I have a whole host of other problems and comments about the current state of the franchise that I will not get into here. Not to say I have a problem with Craig, I think he is doing his best and doing what he does well. I have seen him in and enjoyed his acting in other films and I don't put any of the blame on him. Especially because from what I have heard (of course I could be wrong) is that he has been campaigning to try and get more of that classic Bond feel back. Although I am not sure how much they could make work with him. Partially because of the already established style with his version and partly because I am not sure he can pull it off, but in my opinion I think they cast him specifically because they wanted to do what they have done to the franchise. I am a bit confused about why this is such a big deal. While I understand this is a bit long for a Marvel film there are plenty of 3+hr films around and I have seen several at the cinema and I have never recalled for them this factor being discussed or being joked about. I mean there's nothing wrong with it I am just a bit confused. I think it also demeans Marvel films in some way, to me anyway it makes it seem like their films shouldn't be considered proper films. I will not be getting into that debate here, I myself am not a big fam of Marvel films but nevertheless a film is a film regardless of what you think the creative quality of it is. edit: just to clarify I am not bashing the film nor the people discussing it or joking about it, just curios. I know this is all BS and a joke but to be honest a well taken photo of an empty theatre with nothing but popcorn and drinks will actually be a cool looking photo in my mind and just wanted to tell you that. Have a good day! I mean give it a shot, after a certain point if you're not invested just stop. I mean objectively it is a bad film but for some reason i still enjoy watching it. Maybe it's just the style, I've always liked sword and sandal films and tbh this isn't particularly worse than any of the more corny ones from the 50's. The whole thing is just not at all historically accurate though and it is really just (as with a lot of Stone's films) his own personal story and moral tale put into a historical situation. Kinda just using historical figures to tell a story he wants to tell and using the genre as well as he can (only way I can explain dying Colin Farrell's hair blonde even though neither he or Alexander were blonde). I mean I even have the Ultimate cut on blu-ray. So if you watch it as some casual film with some battle scenes and melodramatic story maybe you'll have a good time, that's what I do. That doesn't forgive the bad elements of it but at least you can enjoy it. My only real problem is I think it needed more battle scenes, leaves out a lot of Alexander's major and important victories and also makes the Iranians look a little too week, although the battle scenes that are there are probably the only things in the movie that are well done. Agree, for the most part my politics align with the liberal left and I am a fan of Last Man Standing, been watching it since the premiere. While I wouldn't say it is genius or amazing or any of that I find it entertaining for half an hour and not totally stupid. Funny is funny regardless of where you lie on the political spectrum. I mean I enjoy this show as much as I enjoy Last Week Tonight (while I must concede that LWT is a very different format to LMS, the politics of the series is my point) and that series is very left leaning.
