Agree with 1 - 3.
For 4 and 5, I'll wait until the chickens are hatched.
Thank you for describing what I saw in the film. When people say it's a brilliant satire on income inequality and modern day capitalism, I wonder what they're watching.
This happens with a lot of films. People just seem to be in the mood for something at a certain point in time and it takes off. But I think Parasite is highly overrated and in a couple years people will wonder why it got so much recognition.
Yes, I find it sad. Older people have lived a lot more life than younger people and should be shown respect. There can be disagreements in policy without mocking age, height, color, sex, etc. The use of negative labels show they don't have strong arguments anyway.
Satisfying is the right word for it.
I don't love Keanu Reeves, but this film was one of my favorites of 2019. Loved the neo-noir, the choreography, the color. And the dogs.
Anyone who has a habit of ignoring facts, conflating issues, moving goalposts, and looking to lawmakers for their moral compass and knowledge of biology, usually doesn't have a winning argument. Most "thinking people" understand to be "with child" means there's a baby growing in the mother's womb. If the people you surround yourself with don't know that, it could explain some of the problems you're having with this issue.
According to the most popular dictionaries, including medical dictionaries, a definition of child is "unborn person; fetus".
There are fetal homicide laws in most states. That means the murder of a human in the womb. But when a mother wants to kill her own child, suddenly it's not human?
The fusion of a sperm (with 23 chromosomes) and the oocyte (with 23 chromosomes) results in a live human being with 46 chromosomes and its own unique DNA. It doesn't grow into something else, it simply grows and matures through different stages throughout its life. You can try to dehumanize it so you don't feel guilty using violence to destroy it, but truth will ultimately prevail.
It is according to the dictionary, biology, reality, and common sense.
Def child: an unborn infant; a fetus
