The "intro" of Luke Skywalker at the end of "The force awakens" was, in my opinion, terrific one of the best moments of the whole saga. This nice feeling (the comeback of Skywalker among others) was just destroyed in "The last Jedi". What have they done with poor Luke in the last movie??? Jim, Michelle and Finch. is 15 years old That. The situation in the beginning at the restaurant, the way how Jim´s father looks at Michelle whe he realised what she had done under the table… The bachelor Party. The converstion between the friends at the cliffs in the near of the hotel. than me Jim acting as a ''Petey''. Also the conversation at the end between Finch and Stifler´s Mom, something like that: - "I am just 19, I can not be just with one women" - "Just get into the car" - "yes mom" The native speakers can here surely describe the dialog better that me. That is right, someone else would have "met" the continent sometime later, probably a portuguese, a spaniard or a brit due to the fact that Columbus had been in several european countries in order to find a sponsor for his cause. There is also a lot of people in Spain who is against the celebration of the 12th of October. Thank you very much for your answer. I understand what you say and I agree although the barbarities made in America were well known long before 2005. However I still want separate the two matters, the discovery in itself on the one hand and all what regrettably happened later. would be That would the second subject of my comment above. I know that in Spain and some countries of Latein America the 12th of October is a national holiday. In the USA too? In my opinion there are two differents subjects related to this matter: 1. The fact that he was able to reach a new continent with just three ships and again all the superstitions of that time was a considerable almost heroic act. And although he was not the first european to be there (the Vikings were first there), he brought the information about the discovery to the known world. May be that is the reason for an romanticized version of him. 2. Regretably after this great achievement, a lot of things went wrong for the natives from north to south. Ok, Street1 has already written about it.... To put the name "America" in the maps was a mistake of a german cartographer somewhen in the early XVI century but the name America remained since then in the history. No wonder !TLJ is a shame for the SW saga….. sorry, the song or "just the soundtrack"? ;-) a very good film for sure But where do they sell their products? In their farms (what I suppose) or in some stores in the City? I think in this Moment she does not think if she is an Amish or not, just react as a person who is very attracted to John..
