bullying is still very much part of life for kids
And adults, unfortunately. It never ends.
Many times, and I always came home with bruises, abrasions and scrapes all over my back and legs..but it was fun!
She didn't know Johnny was seeing someone when they were at the fairground. She found out at the Christmas party when Daniel's wife told her, so that's why she said to Johnny "I hear you're seeing someone you really, really like..(well, something to that effect)" and reverted any sparks they had back to friendship, out of respect, which was the right thing to do, and well, he really IS into Miguel's Mom, and admitted that to Ali after she mentioned it.
I just saw this on Hulu last night, and I think Max's longing to be with and have closure (say good bye and I love you) with her Mom, was so intense, it dragged her and her friends into the movie so she could fulfill that. However, since it was a double feature, they had to play out the sequel.
Every conversation between Rita and Rebecca, especially on the plane, and Rita in general had me in tears every single time "I cracked a blanket in half!". Also, Megan and Air Marshall John, OMG!!! I loved watching Air Marshall John (her real life husband) trying not to crack up during the gun between the ass cheeks talk. Melissa McCarthy was brilliant, never broke.
Also, Rebel Wilson and Matt Lucas in every scene, especially "Hello Fellas, here I am. Put your American sausage in my English McMuffin."
Yes, it is actually referred to in the table read the cast did a few weeks ago. The narrator prefaces the scene with something to the effect of "After a long make out session with Julie, Mitch arrives home...blah blah blah", but I knew, well am pretty sure, that at that age and the fact that they were fully dressed, nothing happened other than kissing.
Thank you, Ace. You explained it beautifully, much better than I ever could. :)
What's wrong with the spelling and grammar in that sentence?
He didn't get laid, just made out with the girl for a few hours (remember those virginity days of long make out sessions?) until the sun started to come up. I thought it was sweet.
Again, not everyone has seen every movie in the world like you apparently have. It's not polite to spoil it for those who have not seen it. Would you want to know the ending or something significant in an older movie you've never seen but want to see? As for "Grow up", grown ups don't chide or bully someone for something so benign.
Yep..and he didn't seem to care when she changed her mind about leaving with him. He was totally ambivalent. She made a good choice because it wouldn't have worked. He's a serial womanizer and probably would have strayed and never really committed, or just flat out left her again.
You've seen every movie that's ever been released?
Exactly, he's 13, he needs his Mom and Dad (love and security until he's mature enough to take care of himself when he's really an adult) to continue to grow, learn about life, and well, be a kid. His brain is not yet fully developed, and he was missing them and his childhood terribly. Kind of like when you lose your Mom and/or Dad at the mall when shopping, and you panic and ask someone for help, and when they find them, the relief you feel (as a kid) is amazing.
I wish you hadn't titled this thread with a spoiler.
