For the record several female professional surfers have posed in the SI swimsuit issue. Alana Blanchard in particular is absolutely gorgeous. The actress does not have to be a surfer girl, but she needs to actually look like someone who is in the water all the time. Lori Petty has very dark hair without the highlights someone gets when they spend lots of time in the ocean. I tend to surf before work almost every day. On the weekends I surf during the summer and usually ski during the winter. My hair is always highlighted, but it is more highlighted during the summer as I spend more time in the water. Even people with dark hair get highlights if they spend lots of time surfing. Look at what female pro surfers look like. Go to the wsl website and look up who they are, then do some research. They tend to have more color in the face and highlights in the hair than Lori Petty. Like I said before, Lori Petty looks athletic, she just does not look like someone who surfs. Like I also said before they handle this better with Keanu, as the movie goes on he has some facial tan and some highlights in his hair, THAT is how people who surf but have dark hair tend to look. Inheritance is not split, it is the possession of the person who inherits it. That is according to my prenup lawyer. If Tom is inheriting money it will be his. Why does her age matter? I agree on all counts. It would be great to see them do another LTZ, this time closer to the book. IB too. Glamorama would be tough. It is pretty long and winding, not to mention the graphic violence. I would have to strongly disagree. Christie is gorgeous in this. You are wrong in many ways. But that has been covered. There is nothing wrong with boarding schools, the problem comes when kids are forced to go. To criticize parents for allowing kids to go is idiotic, and this is coming from someone who did not like boarding school. It works for some people, not for everyone. The prosecution could put forth the theory they dumped the chemicals, but they would have no evidence. It would weaken their argument. They would still be claiming there was poison with no evidence. So is great wealth. The recentering was actually in 1995. Actually, when Bush went to school 1200 was well above average. 1200 when Bush was around was probably equivalent to 1300 after the SAT recentering of 1995. It was not Ivy League level even then though. At that time the median scores at the top school, Cal Tech, was around 1410. Since the SAT recentering of the mid-90's those scores have gone up. Dubya got around a 2.0 gpa, but that was at Andover, where the median SAT score was about the same as the median at a lower tier Ivy League school. My sister actually went there. When the average student at your boarding school is Ivy League level a 2.0 gpa is actually impressive. I am not a Dubya fan by any means, but the people who talk about him being a C student, while literally correct, generally don't understand how impressive his performance actually was. Put it this way, if someone graduates with a 2.3 gpa in mechanical engineering from Cal Tech would you seriously consider them a mediocre student? I would guess that 97% of the college students in the country could not get a 2.3 in mechanical engineering at Cal Tech. It can, but it is very difficult for a man to catch it from a woman through vaginal sex. Here is an analysis which will help shed some light on things: https://www.hivlawandpolicy.org/resources/heterosexual-risk-hiv-1-infection-sexual-act-systematic-review-and-meta-analysis Transmission from woman to man through vaginal sex is HIGHLY unlikely. There are many factors which can increase the chances of transmission. Vaginal fluid CAN transmit HIV, it is just not all that likely. I would encourage anyone who is interested to read the study. Don't just read the summary. You are completely incorrect. It is much easier to transmit through anal sex. Do you actually believe that heterosexuals are all that great about condom use? Sperm and vaginal fluid CAN transmit it, but it is much less likely when compared to blood transmission. If there are no other risk factors, and that is not always the case, one would expect 7 transmissions from a woman to a man for every 10,000 occurrences of unprotected sex. It is MUCH easier for a woman to catch it from a man. Actually, people with high levels of education do not tend to support Trump. Trump did horribly among voters with advanced degrees. Trump was the first Republican to lost Orange County California since the Great Depression. That speaks volumes. Trump's base is composed primarily of poorly educated working class white males, plumbers, carpenters, those types. His supporters tend to be simple middle Americans. The stock market has known the dems would be in control for months. I bet you really crushed your college boards. A senior in high school, so 17 or 18. That is why he was so shocked, she had told him she was in college, so it was startling when her dad (also his boss) revealed that she was actually in high school. I went to a northeastern boarding school that was similar to the one in the film. I graduated in 1993, so things had changed quite a bit by then. I still saw plenty of class prejudice, but not nearly as much as there would have been in the 50's. I will say that lots of the true old money people displayed no class prejudice at all. I was from a blue collar town, although my father was a professor so I could not be considered working class. Much of the snobbery I saw was from new money people who from old-money places, places like Greenwich Connecticut. I did see class prejudice among some old money types, but it is not as cut and dry as some would say. Like I said before, most of the worst snobbery was from new money people, people that were TRYING to join old money society and looked down on those of us that were not from the right towns. The students might well have looked down on David for being working class, but he was a popular quarterback so they probably kept it to themselves. When he was not around, however, some of them certainly would have had some snide remarks. Things were much worse back then, so someone from the wrong town would certainly have been looked down upon by certain people at the school. I definitely saw some of that where I went to school, and I graduated 35-40 years after the movie took place. There were lots of Jewish people at my school and I did not see any open prejudice towards them. Then again, I'm not Jewish so maybe I would not know. You are dead wrong. I went to college at a school in southern California, a school with an extremely good looking student body, and I knew lots of short girls in the best sororities. They tended to be very pretty girls, like the taller girls in the sorority, but to state that sororities like that don't take short girls is absolutely absurd. I have seen plenty of women around 5'2" who are VERY hot. Playboy has featured plenty of women around that size. The popular sororities where I went to school didn't tend to take chubby girls, you are right about that. But they took plenty of girls who were pretty but short. I really have no idea where you are getting these ideas. The sororities where I went to school did not care how tall girls were. That is the way they were represented in the movie. I know lots of old money people who are NOTHING like you describe. The reason they might look down on new money people is NOT because the money is new, but because the new money people are showy with their wealth. There do exist old money people like that, but having been around both old and new money I would say the new money people were generally more obnoxious and stuck up. Most of the old money people I know are nothing like you describe. They tend to be quiet about their wealth, they look down on stereotypical "new money" people because those types tend to like to show off their wealth, not because the money is new. They don't look down on new money people who are quiet about their wealth, they look down on new money people who have a need to show it off. Most of the old money people I know look down on Elle's family because they are ostentatious and the mom has had lots of plastic surgery, not because the money is new. I went to a boarding school where there was lots of wealth. The new money types were far more obnoxious than the old money types, and it really was not even close. I would strongly disagree. Cher was FAR better looking. I don't know any straight men who thought Tai was even close to Cher in the looks department. Brittany Murphy was actually pretty, but they, purposefully, did not make her look good in this.
