Boba Fett was a clone. He was a bounty hunter, but he was not from Mandalore.
I agree, maybe Bachman would have reached similar heights, but the fact is that those books sold exponentially more as soon as it was revealed to be King. Also, just my opinion, but I find quite a few of King's later novels to be far from "Best Seller" worthy, but people buy them anyway because it is written by King.
Wasn't that "Rose" that was logging on at the beginning? That was my impression. I thought that opening scene was there to show us that Rose was in fact a real person and not a supernatural entity.
Yeah, looks like maybe you are the one who needs to start "watching the actual show".
I think even King would admit that people don't buy his books based on the title printed on them, but rather because his name is printed on them.
I don't believe the boy played the game at all. There is no evidence to suggest that he did, nor was it inferred in any way. Also, the parents said the boy's behavior started changing 2 years prior, so it is unlikely that the same VR game was even on the market then. I think the VR story with the girls is a separate plot that may come into play again later on in the series.
That was actually a rhetorical question. I didn't mean to solicit some nonsense response. My fault.
This thread had been abandoned for a month until it was resurrected... by Trump haters. Who is it again talking about Greta more than Hillary?
Yeah, and people also get plastic surgery. I'm surprised you haven't mentioned that one.
I won't say it isn't possible for a transformation like that, but it is definitely a stretch. Of course it is easy to point things out when you already know for a fact that they are two different people, so arguing that they are the same person is kind of pointless.
Yeah, I tend to agree. I think it is mainly the two different noses. The kid has a wider more upturned nose than the adult actor. Also, the kid seemed to have a very pasty-white complexion compared to his adult counterpart.
Democrats compare Trump to Hitler all the time. Seems a bit insensitive to the Jewish community to me but the leftists seem to think it's ok. How is this a bigger stretch than that?
True, it doesn't make sense. I'm sure the restaurants realize this, but they are just trying to appeal to the current trend/agenda so that they don't possibly get targeted by some wacko for hating the planet Earth.
*crickets*
Well if it was held in Hawaii, how much less would it have cost the taxpayers? I know Hawaii was another site that was considered. How do you know that taxpayer dollars aren't being saved by having it at Trump's hotel?
I didn't hate this movie, but I have hated plenty of other remakes and not once has it "destroyed" my memories of the original.
I believe the Night's Watch at the end was just a ruse. Dany's followers demanded some sort of justice, so to appease them, John was sentenced to the Night's Watch. As I stated however, this was a bit of a ruse to allow John to go free and live in the North, which is what he wanted.
Oh that's right, polling doesn't exist on a state by state basis. What was I thinking?
I'm not sure what polls you are referencing, but we don't elect by popular vote, so polling for that and predicting an election based on that data wouldn't even make sense.
I am fascinated that "polls" are still believed.
I've seen an interview with Chevy Chase from a couple years ago where he admits the liberal bias of the show, and how it has increased over time.
Disturbia is my favorite as well.
