Nice. Couldn't remember name of this song. Another good Venom offering. 6/10 Did not like Venom at first. Years later I heard more of their stuff and discovered their appeal. I remember liking At War With Satan and this little gem that I love: Warhead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7kNRp00G3o Do you like Carcass? I happily discovered that European Christians liked to smoke and drink. However, the entire event seemed seeded with people just wearing the skin of religion in order to peddle their goods. Mostly a music festival. ... but actually not too different from many US Christians. I'm a pastor's kid. There were at least 15 people from my church that I regularly got drunk and high with. They all had genuine faith; just no hangups on social issues. Like me. Though my memory is excellent, the words were too alien for me to retain these 30+ years later. I can remember every face there though. I partied pretty hard at that Christian event. I did the same. Poised with my fingers on the Play/Record buttons before every song, just in case. One of the DJs named Frasier Smith would keep talking all the way up until the singing would begin. He was funny but there he is, immortalized on a 90 minute TDK chrome cassette yammering over great parts of songs. >:( (I lent one of those tapes to a pal and got it back with the ribbon twisted. Could listen to Dio's Holy Diver and Ratt's Lay It Down backward after that) I recall it having more words. Perhaps they were teaching me how to say "Please take my pants. I'm an idiot" Nor I. I only really liked "I Missed the Bus" when my nephew played the album for me. A very bright burning 15 minutes of fame that was. When there, I had the son of the head of the Christian Artists Convention teach me how to say "Hands up, this is a robbery" in Dutch. Sadly I do not remember how to twist my brain to say it any longer so I cannot extend this tool to you. Having gone on a smoking hiatus for the trip, it was great to discover that everyone smoked there regardless of religious status. I was known as "The Sneak Smoker." I assume there's less smoking there now. See much? And in which of the countries you have visited was there the most smokers? The lads at the US embassy seemed to share that regard. I'm sure I missed some great tunes. All entertainment media has been destroyed in the apokee-clipse. You have a camera and a source of power. What movie do you try to remake? Only once. Tons of days ditched successfully all the way up to my senior year. The girl that I lured into our criminal adventure to the beach instead of school had a brother who narked her. It took a saboteur to take me down. I was very good at getting away with everything. My Saturday-work detention lasted three hours and consisted of cleaning/sweeping the school grounds. Memorable also for the fact that I discovered a dead guy by the student parking lot. It is for this reason that I opposed cassette singles. I try not to wear out songs I like. I knew people that would ruin a tune by never popping it out of their car stereo. >Kris Kross memory trigger! >I Missed the Bus Great memories of picking up cassettes at Tower Records based on cover alone. Blind grabs with some success and finding songs by whistling the tune to employees. Mystical era. I worked at a music store for a few years. It wasn't cool like one would see in the moving pictures but it was fun. I miss them too. Happy RMD to you as well. I might actually join .... uh, have a drink today. Uncommon. This is my favorite thing about kowalski as well. That and his ability to keep fighting with 50 arrows in him. Sounds like the usual wonderful time for the AK67 family. Very nice to read. That beer sounds interesting. Would you ever choose it again over, say, your 4th favorite brew? When I was last in Holland, mine and my father's passports were stolen on the train out of Skipol airport. Other than that, it was lovely. And what if, after doing that 100s of times, they still call? If they are going to annoy me aggressively then I may as well have some fun. Their job is intrusive so they will reap the rewards. Saying "don't call back" nor "take me off your list" does not work. I have encountered polite callers whom I dismiss with civility. They are rare. So it is his big brother's fault that he, a grown ass man, wore a Nazi costume? Intensely stupid. Why does anyone listen to Harry and Megan? I don't get it. Zero appeal and no reason for them to have time at the podium.
