“If ISIS started a streaming service, you would call your agent, wouldn’t you?” he joked. “So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech, right? You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world.”
Has this 52-minute animated special been shown on TV in 2019? The songs add emotion to the Charles Dickens' story.
Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol (1962) was a 52-minute animated TV musical special. Charles Dickens' story was presented as a Broadway play being performed by the near-sighted and clumsy cartoon comic, Mr. Magoo. But voice actor, Jim Backus (who later played the millionaire on TV's Gilligan's Island), played it straight.
The moving and emotional songs, which enhanced the storytelling, were written by Broadway composers. The order of two of the ghosts was switched. It is one of the best versions of Dickens' classic. It is a shame that it is not aired on network or cable TV each Christmas season.
For this film, PG-13 tells parents that maybe they don't want their 10-year-old to see the high priest pull a beating heart out of a live man. PG tells them that some other film's somewhat violent content and coarse language might be too much for a 5-year-old.
Looks like Craig James reviews are now gone:
"This video is no longer available because the uploader has closed their YouTube account."
Too bad. I had the site bookmarked.
I thought the ending actually works. It answers the question: "So what happens if..."
Will Smith at age 50 seemed a little creepy as the genie pursuing the hand maiden played by Nasim Pedrad, who is 37.
Craig James has decent reviews on his channel. Can save you from seeing a film that's a bomb. I never saw the original animated Disney Aladdin. This live action remake was okay.
That 37-minute video is an outstanding analysis that explains the idiocy of "The Long Night" episode 3. The writers of the episode are complete morons, who should never be allowed to write another script for anything.
Lots of people could not see what was happening:

Expect lots of jokes by late night comedians and SNL, (if they can get over Trump winning the 2016 election for 3 minutes.)
In S8 Ep 4, HBO should show a "last time/what you did not see" clip, with the Night King killing Bran, Arya and the White Walkers killing Jon Snow and winning the battle. GOTCHA!
SPOILERS:
1) When Black Panther first appeared, a woman in the back of the theater yelled “THERE HE IS” and the audience applauded.
2) The audience applauded again at Spider-man's first appearance.
3) When Captain Marvel arrived and destroyed Thanos' space ship.
4) When the camera panned from Thanos to Iron Man, who now had all the stones on his own glove.
5) When the closing credits began rolling.
When you escape from your Marvel universe, you will find that [SPOILER] the APES take over Earth in the Planet of the Apes franchise films.

This is reportedly available on Netflix with the translated title, "The Invisible Guest." Comcast/Xfinity has had Netflix available to non-subscribers in its annual Watchathon, which should start March 31, 2019.
"Badla" (2019), an Indian remake in Hindi with English subtitles, is currently in American theaters that show Indian films.
Thanks for the deleted scene reference. It's here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9muG9BMa2-c
They should have used it.
The one-line description of the film properly omits a key plot point. Mads Mikkelsen is outstanding in how he deals with it. At one hour 38 minutes, the story is told efficiently, without unneeded padding.
It could use a wider release and bigger marketing budget. Its cinematography is worth seeing on a big screen.
The director of "In Order of Disappearance", which I have not seen, also directed this. Based on the trailer, I was expecting the typical film where Liam Neeson tries to figure out what the bad guys did, to pursue vigilante justice.
I was not expecting the dark comedy that was sprinkled in, which was something that the Coen brothers might have done. It reminded me of the Fargo FX cable TV series.
Nicholas Holmes, who portrays Ryan, the young son of the gangster Viking, steals every scene he is in. He has a lot of funny lines.
I agree with you completely. They could have had a season finale with Elizabeth and Philip arrested and another season as the FBI put the pieces together to pin one murder after another on them. This would have been highly satisfying, as the audience would be reminded as to how evil they were. They could have shown pressure, using the kids, to get one of the parents to confess. Would one or both kids provide evidence needed to convict them, knowingly or unknowingly? The show could have had a subplot about trading them for American spies being held in Russia, with heated internal arguments about whether they could let murderers go.
Jeff Goldblum was in this so that they could use clips of him in previews, to sell more tickets. People who liked the very first film probably went to theaters, thinking he would have a bigger role. Gotcha!
Per the granddaughter:
"Robinson's basis for turning my grandmother and Dots into lovers may be that they continued to live together after William's death. The reality of the matter was that there really were not a lot of options at that immediate point in time. There were kids to feed and bills to pay. Gram worked while Dots directed the four kids. After the kids were out of the house, the two women chose to share a household. They were best friends, so close as to be sisters.
For those assuming that a grandchild could or would not know anything about their grandmother’s sex life, I should explain that my knowledge of my grandmother is not as a child, but as an adult. Mine is not the viewpoint of a small child with a sweet old lady grandmother. We had a very close relationship. Gram’s three- or four-week visits several times a year gave us plenty of time to discuss all the woes of mankind. Silly societal taboos on sex and sexual preferences was a topic we covered thoroughly. Gram was very open-minded, and conversed clearly and freely. Gram was a firm believer that people should do whatever they damned well pleased; the only stipulation being maturity and consent. Gram and Dots not only lacked that connectivity which couples have, but would have had no reason to hide.
As to arguments that the relationship as imagined by Robinson's film could possibly be true: I do agree that nobody can ever say what somebody else lived. I can never swear that she and Olive never connected sexually, but I can say with 99.99 percent certainty that they did not. "
The Greatest American Hero airs on cable TV in the USA on the Heroes & Icons (H&I) channel, on Saturdays at 10am and 11am.
