I thought the lead guy was good, if not great. He played a regular Joe desparate for fame and fortune well and maybe someone with more star quality wouldn't have that cringey air about them.
I agree though, just a few minutes shaved off could've helped it, but at the same time I was never bored with it. Overall, a good movie. Definitely worth a watch.
Subjective of course; their first 5 albums are all great imo. Not sure what you mean by ....no LP in top 1000s till mid 80s. They had several top 10s and even if some critics dismissed them, which they did, it didn't stop the people from buying their stuff.
Ironically, a lot of Queen's albums back in the day were met with similar lukewarm praise from" professional critics".
In what way, or how, do you consider Led Zep "FAR" superior? Just curious.
Yes, if you like a sorta slow drama. I enjoyed the film as I was watching it but nothing mind blowing.
SPOILERS:
Yes, his step dad tried to have him killed. it was explained towards the end when Dr. Sherman talks to Jacob and says that his mother wasn't the one that set up the appointment in the first place (or something like that).
I think he was curious and intrigued about his grandmother, and maybe fantasised about those visoins; that wasn't as clear to me.
The original language is Danish, and whilst not a native speaker I can attest that the swedish dialogue in the show in episodes is pretty spot on translated, so yeah, I assume the writing is as you say.
Came here to make sure others picked it out. How ridiculous; that slob shuffles under a fence and Rosita casually just walks after him not even bother running. Geeeez
Definitely not. No jump scares, etc. More psychological maybe but not much, imo. It was pretty boring.
While I agree that people can get desensitized to violence in movies movies over a period of time it also highly individualistic. I mean, I enjoyed the movie but I wasn't watching it for the fact that I was thrilled about the murders. Millions of people have seen this movie, that doesn't mean they all enjoyed it and it doesn't mean they are all stupid and accepting of child murders either. Anything can be picked apart to the very bone by a subjective eye, but it's fallacious to say that it's just about this or that and also how you seem to know how every person who enjoyed it must have reacted to it, and thus being stupid.
