Superman 2 was fun, and Dirty Harry had 2 great followups, but the rest of the films you listed had subpar sequels.
No, not woke at all, but also not very good. Not bad, either. It's bland, predictable, and forgettable.
Watch the first Godzilla film, from 2014, and find a moment where the beasts don't look real. They move like they have weight to them, and look as real as any kaiju ever have. Their eyes look real, their breathing looks real, and when they fight there is a slowness to the battle befitting their great size. The Godzilla in this film looks like a guy in a foam rubber suit, spruced up with some '90s era CGI.
I don't think major bomb is very accurate. Taking in $568 million at the box office is no small feat, especially in the era of streaming.
Republicans love their country, but hate its government.
Democrats hate their country, but love its government.
That is the primary distinction between the two.
The original Invaders From Mars would be on my short list.
Assuming the millions of illegals they've allowed into the country, and registered to vote, aren't enough to swing the election, who knows what they'll resort to.
Jill Biden and Barak Obama have almost certainly been making all the decisions since Biden was "elected" president.
How does anyone do whatever thing they're into? They do it because they like it. Meanwhile, to everyone else not into that particular thing it is unappealing.
Why is that the only thing that matters? To whom does it matter? Is it America's responsibility to go in there and pick a side and fight a war? And who says Ukraine didn't want a war? There were certainly those in Ukraine who did, as they are now making billions of dollars because of it. Let Russia and Ukraine work it out, and if other countries want to join in, let them. The U.S. has no reason to be involved, either financially or militarily.
And that relates to any of this how?
What is the wrong side? My belief is that it's not our responsibility to send money or troops to fight in Ukraine against Russia. I'd prefer Russia not invade Ukraine, though it seems they were pushed into it by those who wanted a war. The bottom line for me is that the U.S. should not be running around the world fighting wars.
As for right/left, my point above is that the left was fine with Russia in Ukraine when it served their purposes, and now they want a war for the same reason. It's all corruption and greed, and soldiers to sent out to die on behalf of corrupt greedy leaders.
They're almost certainly going to nominate someone other than Biden, likely either Newsome or Michael, errrr Michelle Obama. Trump will still get more votes than them, but all the recently-registered illegals will swing the election. Get ready for 4 more years of inflation and war.
Russia controlled Ukraine from 1922 to 1989 and no one on the left made a peep about it. They lauded it. They praised the Soviet Union as the model the U.S. should adopt. Suddenly now you care about Russia being in Ukraine?
He can't lose. There's no Covid to allow them to generate fake mail-in ballots this time, so he's imported millions of illegals and given them all a drivers license and money, and registered them all to vote. Look at voter registration data in every battleground state.
Of course there are some wonderful films made every year, but on a whole the films made from the late '60s into the early '90s don't hold up to those made before or after.
It's not a false tag. Early in the film we see that Christine's secretary is a lesbian, and while in Nice she inadvertently bursts into a lesbian bar, where we see a dozen or so lesbians look up in wonder at her antics.
No, they are like any other people-- all different in their beliefs and values. There may be a few here and there who are anti-Christian, but they are as rare as white supremacists, or any other boogie-man you want to make up.
The '80s were probably the era of the worst films ever made, with the '70s a close second. If you want to absolute best-made films, start watching films from about 1927 through 1946 or so.
He pulled from numerous films, but this feels like the one that provided the most material for Young Frankenstein.
