That was my experience as well. I've never read the book, but my two sons wanted to see it so I took them. They both enjoyed it, and I wasn't bored by it. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it tells a funny story that children can enjoy at a pace that never gets tiresome. It would be impossible. Once a vote has been submitted, it's over. This is the lesson we learned in 2020. If you can't stop the people from casting the ballot you have no recourse. You know you're wrong, but you are willfully turning a blind eye because it benefits the party you've been brainwashed into following. I'm sure the MAGAs would act the same as you were the tables turned. It's not possible? It's happening. Look at the government's own web page at ssa.gov Rather than claim someone calmly reporting fact is engaging in hysterics, offer an explanation of why it's impossible. Unfortunately there is a big difference between 2016 and now. In 2016, the powers that be believed Hillary would win, and did little to interfere with the election. They learned from their mistake, and in 2020 stuffed the ballot boxes with tens of thousands of illegal mail-in ballots. Without Covid, it's unclear what they can or can't do in 2024. If Trump loses on 11/5 it will because millions of illegals were registered to vote, and then their ballots were filled out and submitted by the same people who stuffed the ballot boxes last time. Open your eyes to what's going on around you. Do you ever research the talking point you've been fed? What exactly does being a "34 times convicted felon" mean? Nothing substantial. It means D.A. Alvin Bragg orchestrated a trial that had a predetermined outcome simply to label Trump a felon. Is that how you believe the American legal system should work? Or, is it only because Trump is the victim of it that it's okay, and if it were your candidate you'd be livid? When even a CNN legal analyst calls the verdict an “unjustified mess” and claims it “blew his mind," you know something is wrong; “No state prosecutor … has ever charged federal election laws as a direct or predicate state crime, against anyone, for anything.” The trial was a sham, and anyone without bias can see that. But then, you go on to fabricate a claim of dementia, so it's clear you aren't unbiased. If anything, that's childish. Your candidate was revealed to be senile, and you've resorted to "no he's not! Yours is!" in response. Someone knows his history. And yes, their weaponry was made up of diverse elements, and the nice red uniform was chief amongst them. It's far from a masterpiece. It has some great moments without doubt, and the premise is fantastic, but the overall execution of the film is poor. It *could* have been a masterpiece had it been better conceived. I have to know-- what did you write, then delete, in response to my history lesson? It's a film with an interesting premise and some solid moments, poorly executed. For large segments of the film its unintentionally comedic, and laughably bad to boot. He was clearly senile during the run up to the 2020 election. We all saw it, but half of us live in denial. It can't be any worse than the original. I take it to mean a couple things: 1. It's a reference to the Fantastic Four being the comic book that ushered in the Silver Age of comics, and brought Marvel to the forefront of the comic book industry. After the Fantastic Four came Ant-Man, then Hulk, then Spider-Man, then Thor, and so on, but it was the Fantastic Four comic book that opened the door for them all. That comic was the "first step" of the modern Marvel Comics story. 2. It's probably also indicative of how that film will mark the start of a new era of MCU films. It's the first film of Phase 6, and will also be the first serious film that integrates the characters acquired in the Disney-Fox merger, so in many ways it will be the MCU's first steps forward into an entirely new era of storytelling. Diversity? He's white. And a far better actor than Krasinski, who is a goofy dude. As we saw in the Dr. Strange film, he can't pull off the intellect or gravitas required to play Reed Richards. Pascal is a vastly superior choice. You're ignoring everything he pointed out, and focusing on something impossible. If they were adopted, the adoption papers would be sealed, possibly destroyed. I don't know that Michelle Obama is really a man, but I certainly can't say with confidence that she isn't. Are you really so naive as to assume that because the news doesn't report it, it isn't true? We only recently learned that Barack Obama is bisexual. Is it such a huge stretch to imagine he'd marry a trans woman? Again, what do I know? I'm only saying this isn't something you can dismiss with some snarky "show me such and such document" comment. The other poster gave 12 reasons, all of which make sense. There's another reason that I find especially compelling: at least twice in interviews Obama referred to her as Michael, only to correct himself later. I don't know about you, but I've never once called my wife by an incorrect name, and if I did it certainly wouldn't be a man's name. If you are completely certain of Michelle's gender, offer your response to the 12 points the other guy made (and the one I just did). Why are YOU so sure she's female? Is it just that you "trust your instinct?" Do you "trust your television?" That's completely false. No one expected the Spanish Inquisition. It was often remarked that their chief weapon was surprise. It was either that or fear. Those were their two main weapons-- fear and surprise-- so to say they let you know in advance they were coming is a historical falsehood. If you do some reading on the topic, the terms that come up over and over are surprise, fear, and a ruthless efficiency, so I suppose you could say they had three main weapons: fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency, and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope. I guess that makes four, but you get my point. They were definitely not letting anyone know they were coming. No such film exists. James Gunn is directing a Superman film, slated to come out next summer. He has no Batman film lined up, and Glen Powell is not playing Batman in any upcoming film. You're reading rumors online and assuming them to be facts. Same. This has been the best cinematic incarnation of Batman to date. I'm very curious to see how the story progresses. So unless someone listens to Fox News he's making up what he says? Okay, great! I don't think he wants an answer.
