I think, in real life, if you had just saved the planet and returned, you're pretty much set for life and you would be treated like a king. E.g. Rockhound worries about the loan that he took from the shark. I don't believe the US Government would have an issue settling that. I'd watch that. It definitely has a late spring/summer vibe, but what is bugging me is what Ray says to Art about his new tools: "Carol's father gave them to me <b>for Christmas</b>". He also confirms it later: "Carol's father <b>just gave me a brand new set of tools</b>". Which would imply that Christmas was not so long ago. So I don't know what to make of it.. It's a fun movie with great cast and some fun one-liners. It was super annoying! For me, it brought the rating down two stars instantly. True. I overlooked that one.. Obviously how? It's July (Latitude festival), therefore summertime. London is GMT+1, New York is GMT-4, Tokyo (Japan) is GMT+9. At what point should there be night at the same time in all 3 cities? That's a risk we were willing to take. Or how he read "Samsonite" in an instant.
Hopefully we'll get to see them in action together again.
You got it! Yeah, that was my thought, maybe it was his favorite spot where he sat every day to read the papers and wanted to go that way. - What'd you do with Sully? - I let him go. It does make sense that certain institutions are off-limits during the purge, such as hospitals, retirement homes, etc.
