Luke's exile wasn't Rian's idea. It was actually taken from George Lucas's outlines.
The only problem with this is that while the Emperor did not have a backstory in the original trilogy, the fact that he's called "emperor" does give him a CONTEXT. We know what emperors are, and that they rise to political power in one way or another.
Snoke is called "Supreme Leader". Same difference. It's not necessary. You mean more than they already have? I really doubt spirit Anakin will ever appear in the films. Obi-Wan definitely won't as his spirit is the Guinness version in canon. It was a puppet, but something was off about it. And the "spirit glow" effect was shit for the birds in this. So a "real fan" has to like every entry in the series? What's a "psuedo fan"? How did he fuck up Luke? I still think it will be pushed back. Actually the claim is the opposite. His version would have featured them more prominently in TFA, but killed them off faster.... Yes. And LOTR only principle photography was done all at once. The second film was largely re-structured in pickups after FOTR was a success. 3D in Avatar sucked too. 3D in movies filmed with 3D cameras still sucks if all they do is use it for depth. 3D in all three Hobbit movies sucked. 3D in Tron Legacy sucked. I have TFA and R1 3D blue rays. The coolest 3D on both discs is on the menu screens.... It’s always a waste because they feel awesome 3D is “too gimmicky”. 1) ESB 2) ANH 3) AOTC 4/5/6) ROTJ/TFA/TLJ 7) TPM 8) ROTS Interesting analysis. I hope I like it more on a second viewing. You noticed things I didn't pick up on the first time. Yes! The novelization will reveal this! That's why it's not being released until March this time. The sunset convinced him just to will himself to die. I wonder if Mark might be right. Part of me hopes that might be why the novelization isn't available until March this time. It will reveal Luke is still alive! Wishful thinking, but it would be cool. Yes. Except it was good.
