I love this movie, but Ingrid Bergman, who was 33 at the time, was too old to play a teenager in Joan of Arc (1948). McMurphy (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) For the life of me, I can't understand how Star Wars fans *could* be Trump supporters. That just baffles me. My guess is these "fans" just paid attention to the lightsabers and spaceships and blasters, and the story went completely over their heads. Thank you, Stratego. Your words mean so much to me. I do take solace in the fact that she was happy with me during the years I had her, and that I let her go before she was worse off and in considerable pain. I may adopt again sometime in the future, but I definitely need to work through my grief first. Focusing on artwork has been a help. Thank you! I know your post was made a year ago, but I just rewatched this movie recently and I agree. It didn't feel like four hours due to its pacing and intensity. I enjoyed it quite a bit and have to say the ending made me think, which I always appreciate. I'd also give it a 7/10. Watto from The Phantom Menace I'm going to have to go with Martyrs (2008). That movie left me feeling sick for days. Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I would recommend checking Miller out. He gave the character emotional vulnerability and relatability while maintaining the character's eccentricities, and did so very well. I will! 😊 Agreed. Thank you very much! I believe you meant to reply to me. :) Yes, I would be happy to draw those characters. I'll add them to my list and start on them as soon as possible! The top four drawings are different actors who've played Sherlock Holmes. From left to right, there's Jeremy Brett, Basil Rathbone, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Jonny Lee Miller. :) Yes, I have done that. :) In fact, a story I once wrote was based on one of my dreams. It was about a ghost who haunted a school (she died on the school grounds) and befriended an outcast student. I'd say about a 3 unless the dream contains something really bad. It's interesting, when I was a teenager I used to keep a journal where I would write down my dreams every morning before school. When I started doing that my dreams became more vivid and memorable. It was as though my subconscious mind wanted to remember them so I could record them. Mission to Mars (2000) The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020). I also quite liked The Ritual (2017) for what it was. Thank you, Shogun. We had another discussion about it today. It's looking like it might happen. :) Not so much my driving habits as my fueling habits. I've taken to filling up when the tank is half-empty rather than waiting until it's near empty, otherwise I'd be hurting. My coworkers and I have talked to our boss about the possibility of us being on a rotational schedule where we take turns coming into the office and working from home; that way we each don't have to drive so much. Hopefully something comes of it. It's been a long time since I've seen it, but I remember it falling apart near the end. One of the interesting things about the original was that is never specified whether the ghosts were real or not. In the remake there's no such ambiguity.
