I dont hate the prequels, just Attack of the Clones. Its awful. The fact you would say otherwise is hilarious. And hypocritical. People were freaking out about Ghostbusters from the second it was announced. Before anyone saw it, people were freaking out because it existed. It turned out to be a shitty movie, but the hate it got before it came out was ridiculous. There was a ton of racism and sexism aimed at the cast. Leslie Jones was targeted on Twitter and some famous people encouraged others to join in and attack her. You cant just pretend that didnt happen to make a point. You weren't called anything by the OP until you replied to them. Unless you do the things he mentions in his OP. Apparently you posted on Rian Johnson and JJ Abrams boards just to say insults which is pretty childish. So are you, acting like the sequels or the makers shot your dog, instead of just making a movie you didnt like. Being original doesnt make them good. Attack of the Clones is the worst Star Wars movie ever. Worse than TLJ And TFW by far. Terrible acting, writing, dialogue, CGI... Debating on a movie discussion board is different than making twenty different emails, signing up with a site for each of them, and then rating a movie zero with all of them just out of spite. Or mocking and attacking actors on social media. The poster is wrong to say anyone is a waste of life, but the point being made is accurate. If you hate the movie that much, you have bigger problems than the movie. Star Wars has the biggest snowflakes of any fanbase. The Last Jedi didnt do anything other than come out. The characters aren't real. Being so obsessed about a movie you hate, and hating real people because of it, ruins any valid point someone might have. Jesus Christ it's not inappropriate. Grow the hell up for god's sake. Drinking and sex are a part of life, they're allowed to make some light jokes about them. Michelle isn't necessary and it completely defeats the purpose to recast her. I didn't know they said it will cross over, but seeing as the show wasn't a certain renewal last year and actually took a while, I don't think it will be on long enough to pass into the Breaking Bad years. They're still a ways away from catching up. The first four episodes are outstanding, and so are the ones when Kingpin shows back up. But everything that has to do with the hand is pretty dumb. It's not a bad season but besides the punisher stuff it's pretty meh. I agree. The only Marvel shows who's 13 episodes seasons worked were Daredevil season 1 and Jessica Jones season 1. And those did have moments of feeling dragging on. But I'd say every other season of all their shows are 4 episodes too long. The directing wasn't the problem at all. The directing was great. The writing was an issue, and it wasn't just women doing the writers. A couple of episodes were written by men. It's just stupid to act like it sucked solely because they were women. Iron Fist and The Defenders sucked way more, and that didn't have all women directors. So why aren't you whining about that sucking because of most their directors and writers were men? Each movie makes a billion dollars. Clearly mass audiences like them. Come on. Tear jerking, rip your heart out moments? Like what? There wasn't a single rip your heart out moment on the entire show. The closest one was when Papouli died, and that isn't sad because Papouli was such a minor character. We only saw him once before. This is an example of the show having terrible writing. If they wanted that moment to be sad, they should have had Jesse's dad die, since he was in numerous episodes and the girls were all close with him. Or have Papouli be a recurring character during the season so the audience is more familiar with him. Seeing them all cry over a guy they met one single time isn't sad to me. It's not just that he's a bad teacher. He's a pretty bad person. Hagrid was a bad teacher, but a great person. Too bad during that time he mercilessly bullied and harassed children and even attempted to have the kid he was supposed to protect expelled numerous times. I guess we just disagree on what makes someone a hero. To me, it's not just the stuff you do, it's the type of person you are. And overall, Snape was a pretty bad person. Snape was never a hero. He did some good things, but he never was a full hero. He did far too much bad to be labeled a hero. I'm sorry but how was he treated? What is there to feel sorry about? If you're talking about how James and Sirius treated Snape in his worst memory, that was one single incident, and Dumbleodore compares Snape and James to Harry and Malfoy, meaning they both went after each other. And even if James did full out bully Snape, Snape turned out to be a much worse bully himself. He made Hogwarts hell for kids. He was so bad to Neville, Neville truly feared him. And he held what James did to him against an 11 year old boy who couldn't even remember his father. Also, Snape was obsessed with the dark arts. He loved them. He even joined Voldemort, and would have served forever had Voldemort gone after any baby besides Harry. Snape would have been happy to let Neville die. Snape had racist, horrible views, and while bullying isn't ever okay, I sympathize more with Neville, a good kid who was bullied, than Snape who eagerly joined a mass murderer. Snape is an outstanding character, but can we stop the nonsense with acting like he's some innocent victim? They literally say over and over Harry looks exactly like James. How would that be if Snape was actually Harry's father. Because often according to common audiences the best movie of the year is something like the Transformers series. Which are some of the worst movies ever. Being a professional critic doesn't mean your opinion is any less valid. Stop acting like it does. Also, imdb can be flawed. Badly. People can rate a movie as many times as they want. Just keep making new accounts and rating it. How is that better than Rotten Tomatoes? And many fans have agendas and biases. They'll attack a movie and purposely give it a 1 star rating over and over and over. That happened with The Last Jedi. Ordinary movie goers are more often worse than critics. Much worse. Many reviewers don't get paid. They do it because they just enjoy it. And audiences do get a say in reviewing a movie. You can review movies on imdb. They have star ratings. Every movie or show has an audience rating.
