I think it's the painters soul cursing the paintings, it seems anyone involved in profiting off them or anyone who treats art with no respect will be killed. Josephina was consumed by paint and made a piece of art, like her characters life, she lived and breathed art. Sadly for her, it was for all the wrong reasons.
Rene Russo's character unknowingly reenacted the painting she destroyed, bringing the curse back to kill her with the art on her body. Pause at the 1:45:10 mark and you'll see (the painting is of a women sitting next to a cat with 2 shadows in front of them). If you mean the old guy selling the last of the cursed art, I believe it just means the curse is still out there and could reek more havoc in the future.
The one thing that leads me to believe he is the Clovehitch killer is the cold and evil way he was going to kill his son. Your theory about the uncle is interesting though and it could still be him. Most people will watch this and think McDermott is Clovehitch though, the ambiguity at the end of this flick isn't as obvious as other flicks.
To us the audience yes he is revealed.
I've been watching week to week and agree with you. When I get to the end of an episode I'm so drawn in I want it to keep going. It has the look and feel of a excellent movie, I just wish I was able to watch it all in one sitting right now, the weekly wait sucks. As of the first 4 episodes I'd say there is a good chance I'd purchase it on Blu-Ray. Hopefully they load the set with bonus feature's related to the real crime.
“6 years moron”, ever hear of the word irony lol Your name calling is more crying and bitching then anything I said, plus people who can only muster up insults are usually describing them selves in said insults. Dwell on that, and believe me when I say goodbye I mean it lol
LOL
DEA agents are still human beings and they aren't actively thinking of investigating family or loved ones. Hank for years was arresting low level, idiot meth dealers with ease. Walt was a master manipulator and Hank was a good man with a big heart not smart enough to see behind Walt's lies. Plus as I'm sure you know, if the DEA agent hunting Walt was a genius "Sherlock Holmes" type the show would be over before it started.
Hank was blind to Walt, to him he was the nerdy and unassuming brother in law who couldn't hurt a fly. Walt did a good job keeping Hank believing this after he broke bad.
Not a stupid question. I haven't read a comic in awhile myself. I don't think there is any Legends comics out right now, it would be cool to get a big budget movie with these characters though. Deadpool had the advantage of only being in comic form before the movie (Wolverine Origins doesn't count), so hype was bigger. I liked Deadpool, didn't love it, I think the sequel was better and had more to offer for me in regards to rewatchability.
If they started even talking about some of these characters from Legends getting solo movies (new casting, studio won't crossover) there would be hope for us getting the eventual Legends movie with all of the heroes. By the look of things, I think we are screwed and if we do get a Legends movie it won't be for many years.
No problem. The Legends are having a special episode to make up for the lack of they're appearance in the crossover. The whole episode sees the Legends dealing with alternate versions of themselves, should be entertaining. Like yours, my heart still breaks that they won't be in the crossover. Hopefully next year they go all out and have them all again.
The Legends aren't a part of this one sadly.
Yes, the killer is revealed.
It's fiction (NOT REAL) - if the kid leaves the house THERE'S NO FUCKING MOVIE! Home Alone was the highest grossing live action comedy for 27 years for a reason, its hilarious to kids and adults watching a kid make 2 crooks suffer on Christmas. Side note, I think your full of shit, you know Culkin's salary (I've seen the movie a dozen times and never knew that) and the ending bothers you in a such an ALL CAPS way, you must of seen it, probably more then once.
If to you family comedies where a kid takes on the baddies has been done so may times before 1990, can you name theses other movies that make Home Alone seem repetitive or overdone to you?
Agreed, it seems UH is a troll. He takes it personally that Hank fired on the Nazis, it bothers him, he repeats it over and over, he thinks Hank should've just kissed the Nazis feet and begged for his life. That's fucked up. If he isn't trolling the UltimateHippo is a definitely a terrible person.
In no particular order, here's a list of decent to great horror movies released in the 90's. The 90's just like the decades prior had a large number of both terrible and good horror movies.
1. Jacob's Ladder
2. Misery
3. Tremors
4. Cape Fear
5. The Silence of the Lambs
6. Scream
7. Braindead
8. Bram Stokers Dracula
9. Man Bites Dog
10. Cronos
11. In The Mouth Of Madness
12. Demon Knight
13. Se7en
14. The Frighteners
15. From Dusk Till Dawn
16. Cube
17. The Devil's Advocate
18. Event Horizon
19. Mimic
20. Audition
21. Sleepy Hollow
22. Stir of Echoes
23. The Sixth Sense
24. The Relic
25. Urban Legend
26. Candyman
If CGI is a big complaint about 90's horror, its used a lot more now and no one seems to mind, Hereditary, Don't Breath, Evil Dead and many other lauded horror movies of recent years have been loaded with it. Plus, most of the movies on that list are original and at least stray from the overkill of 80's slasher syndrome. Teens go to cabin or camp and get stabbed, rinse and repeat. I like those movies but I also enjoy the variety of horror the 90s provided us.
Lol my bad, happy we agree about OP too. Can't make a movie with only talking animals and have no green screen, ridiculous
I never said it was a good movie and there my only complaints so far. Obviously I've only seen a trailer, I thought the visuals were amazing but it was all nearly shot for shot scenes from the original movie. With only this teaser trailer I'm going in to this with the expectations of getting a visually upgraded, nearly identical copy of the 1994 version.
Okay Man lol
