I think part two felt overstuffed for just 5 episodes. I agree but Afterlife came the closest to it Of course I did not mean deliver in that sense , I meant deliver in giving that old school 80's film vibe. It very much felt like a modern film trying really hard to capture that old school Amblin feel without really being successful at it. Too much CGI, barely any practical effects etc.. Afterlife really captured that old school vibe way, way more than Super 8. Haha That is true too I agree . It felt like a filler film and is too dependant on a sequel to make sense. What is disgusting about it? Please elaborate. You did not call it "not accurate" or "out of character" you chose disgusting.... Not sure, so many factors that makes me doubt this could happen ... I also think the problem is that the WB wants us to forget about the Snyderverse because it is a reminder of how bad of a hack job they did on the theatrical cut of Justice League. I really doubt they will ask Snyder back for that reason unfortunately :( . We got the Snyder Cut because of the folks at the HBO division not WB film division after all. Personally after watching Wonder woman 84 I think it would be for their best interest to change directors but I doubt Gal Gado would be up for that either, she is extremely loyal to Jenkins... Not surprised. The Snyder Cut was greenlighted by the HBO division NOT the WB film divisions. I bet lots of folks at WB did not want the Snyder Cut to get out because it did exactly what it did, by that I mean it proved that the original cut was extremely unprofessional and that the failure of the original cut was because of WB exec/Joss whedon and not Zack Snyder at all because what came out was really no longer his movie and the Snyder Cut proves that. They are just pissed off now that we can now completely blame them and Joss Whedon for how bad the theatrical cut was and they will do everything they can to insure that the Snyderverse gets buried under new movies because it is now a constant reminder of how they failed the fans. I do not mind that she killed a bunch of guys who were OK in murdering tons of civilians and children .. In fact it was mighty satisfying to see evil people get what they deserve instead of just been tied up with a lasso and having Wonder Woman giving a cheeky wink to one of the hostages the way Patty Jenkins would have probably done it. I wouldn't mind that. I was extremely disappointed with WW84. The issue I had was that Patty Jenkins went full on TV Wonder Woman. it is now clear she is more interested in giving us the 70's TV, peaceful , non aggressive Wonder Woman than the warrior from the comic book. It was such a pleasure to see Wonder woman with her shield and sword in the Snyder Cut instead of just fighting with her lasso not too hurt people too much lol I loved the first Wonder Woman but I think with WW84 Patty Jenkins did not have to respect the continuity of the Zack Snyder films anymore and she was given carte blanche to do whatever she wanted with the character. Watching WW84. I really realized that my favorite parts of the first films was because of the outline Zack Snyder gave for the character. WW84 was Patty Jenkins given complete creative Freedom and that is what we got! Not a bad film but not at all the Wonder Woman from the comics. It is a question of preference really. I much prefer my Wonder Woman to be a fighter like in the comics but some people love Jenkins "Love is the Key" version of the character... NOTE: With that said, I doubt Snyder would just take that job from a friend. She would need to refuse to a 3rd film first. I agree I think the Twins will probably be missing by the end of episode 9 and it is one of the reason Wanda will join Doctor Strange to find them. Otherwise and to the shows credit, I have no idea haha Well... Let's put it this way, people who knows me personally and who are not judgmental ass holes understand that English is not my first language Same ... I gave up during season 2. It just doesnt feel like Star Trek. Like you said the writers only care about Burnham. I do not feel a Team spirit in that show. In the original shows , we got familiar with the entire team and each member had a couple of episode to shine and develop as characters but in this .. I have no idea who these people are....If they died I would feel nothing because we know them so very little. I hate this is what Star Trek as turned into. It's depressing. Yeah that is the way I interpreted the laughter because what it is laughing at is obviously very unfunny so I wouldn't be surprised if the laughter is used as a tool by the writer to add to the sense of dead looming above that perfect sitcom life. I think there is a reason for it. Personally I think it adds something unsettling. They do not even feel like laughter from a sictom. it nearly feels like the laugh track is making fun of Wanda and Vision. The fact the laugh track is on at all times and in moments that are just not funny adds to the sense that something really strange is going on. Not sure ...I just wished "The Kids are alright" was never cancelled, he did a great job on that. Perhaps he was still bitter on the cancelation of his own show and he had a hard time accepting taking orders? Yeah completely agree, he was the step too far. I despised the character (Not the actor, he is actually good) because in my opinion he was completely out of place. It brought an element of slapstick to the show that to me slightly hurt season 2. He was a goofball character that you would normally see in a situation comedy. I loved season 3 so much more than season 2 and I think the fact that idiot was not in it was one of the reasons.
