100% agree ! Eddie was perfectly cast (Although this can be said for all the loosers) . What I liked about Jack Dylan Graze performance was how natural it felt.As an example that scene when they are riding their bikes and he speaks about the aids virus and how you can get it from eating candies etc.. it really did not sound scripted at all. I also love the way Eddy speaks so fast and nervously, you can really tell that the actor made his homework in regards to the type of Kid Eddy was. A lot of people are praising Finn Wolfhard, and he his good too but in my opinion Jack Dylan Graze was the real stand out because Finn had the advantage of having all the best one liners but Jack took a character that in the hands of any other actors could have been bland (Like Eddy in the TV show) and turned him into one of the most memorable characters in the film.
Thank you
Thank you :)
I have their "House" box set I really enjoy. The extras are great and covers all the films, even the mediocre last one. Also have their Killer Clown from outer Space release and Evil Ed.My favorite is the box set of Lamberto Bava's "Demons" one and two, probably the films I watch the most out of their release. They are always a good quality and I am rarely disappointed with them.
Thanks :)
YES! the Evil Dead remake was the perfect example of a remake well done, loved the all drug intervention storyline. There are a few good remake..The Fly was a terrific remake that surpassed the original in every way, The hills have eye was not too bad either. The thing these three have in common is that they just did not copy and paste, they took the general concept of the franchise they were working on and found a fresh way to tell their story. Friday the 13 and ANOES remakes were just telling the stories that were told and brought nothing new to the table.
Levi! He cracks me up!
Yeh me too! I Definitely see it as one of the worst remakes! Platinum Dunne really messed up with Jason and Freddy! I am glad Michael Bay is no longer messing around with horror icons. The original really still holds up remarkably well.
Interesting, she did look a bit older then 29 but still beautifull
I agree! Now if the question was simply would you think the movie would have been better with a different director I still would have said no because that script is sh*t
It is indeed!
The remake was mostly mentioned in the deleted scenes. To be fair looking at the remake I understand their bitterness towards it. It just a very pale copy of the first film.
I do not think I ever asked myself how D.A.R.Y.L genitalia looked like no matter how many times I have watched this film lol
I know, me too, love the end, especially when I was a kid as I actually believed DARYL had died so it was a relief to see he had not lol Also love the credit song "Somewhere I belong"
The mummy was a terrible film...very underwhelming
I completely agree!
Wow! Random but I am so happy I found a site that basically saved all of the IMDB board to bring it back to life under a new name! It's so great that little films like this one still has a platform to discuss it.
