And yes Curry played it perfect for a pg tv mini-series...and it was 90 cgi gas come along a good bit lately Hard for me to compare...you just can't do things from the book in the mini-series...but the R rated movie did do it justice...liked what they changed and what they left in...pumped for chapter 2...hell,they do it right and they could have 3 maybe 4 chapters Yeah but I hope we haven't seen the last of him...even if he did die Bob Gray can always bring him back for shits and giggles The only question I have other than "when will part 2 come out" Is Henry Bowers dead? No but it was there...along with the standpipe Eddie had a shirt with a black and white front shot of a car that had to be a shoutout to Christine Bill had a Tracker Bros tee shirt Richie has a Freese's tee The Paul Bunyan statue No,not impossible. Really want them to work the smoke-hole into chapter two. Sorry if I might be spoiling some aspects of the next movie. Just a huge SK fan and enjoy talking about my favorites In the book it was spider-like but only because their minds couldn't comprehend it's true form. Also It's true self was not necessarily a physical form. It really existed outside of the universe in the "macroverse" as the Deadlights. Furthermore, if It threw a person into the Deadlights that persons mind would be driven insane and stay in the Deadlights forever while their body is left alive but catatonic. Bill's wife Audra was the only one to see the Deadlights fully and then come back from it. But that only happened because Bill used Silver(his bike) and maybe the last bit of magic to ride "to beat the devil" one last time. Most everything and everyone in Derry are affected by It He didn't kill him Pennywise had done that six months before. Bill was just putting that bolt into "It" I have no shame in telling you that it took me straight back to those twelve year old nights reading the book. I actually had trouble getting to sleep last night!! Can't wait for the next chapter I read the novel when I was about 12. Scared the holy hell out of me but loved it! My favorite book of King's apart from th Dark Tower books. Basically finished it a few weeks before the tv mini-series came out and was really pumped to see it. Tim Curry did a wonderful job but television isn't the right place for a story that needs to be R rated at the very least. I'll be 40 next year and Novel was set in 57-58 and 85 You get the impression that he's creepy but you don't get the backstory you get from the book. I really enjoyed it. Will go back and see it a second time. Already ready for chapter 2 It compares to the book but not the tv mini series.Don't get me wrong though, they did the best they could do for tv in 1990. You've got to have at least an R rating,if not NC 17,to really do the novel true justice. SkarsgÄrd did a fantastic job. Way closer to what Pennywise was in the book. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. The only thing I'm bummed about is that chapter 2 isn't ready to go already.
