So great that she shared her story. So shocking that the end of the film mentions 44 other doctors have also inseminated their patients against their will, without consent or informing them. But this disgusting "christian elder" quiverfull psychopath was the most prolific.

This man had rheumatoid arthritis, a genetic disease, and he passed it on to 94 kids, so far. He would never have qualified to be a donor. Their mothers were defrauded, assaulted, and effectively raped. Maybe you should have watched the movie before commenting. It has nothing to do with adoption - jfc - lol. None of these people were adopted.
It means a hell of a lot. It's consent. It's fraud. Also this asshole had rheumatoid arthritis and would never have qualified to be a donor. As a doctor himself, he also would have known that. This then is an act of violence on 94 women and their 94 (so far) children. You're describing a pre-internet dating service. This was supposed to be a medical service, with the patient's interest and well being taking the paramount position.

I guess he's not funny to most people, but if you read any Tibetan or buddhist philosophy, there's a lot of humour, and the DL can be a goofball - when he's not getting bashed for doing something truly weird. I've hear him make jokes - comes naturally in buddhism.
