Having just watched it again for the first time in a few years I can confirm that you are very much correct. She was one hot tamale. Her last acting role seemed to be back in 2009. Or is he ? We never saw a body, lol Personally, the very last Doctor Who episode I ever watched was the 2017 Christmas special. I like millions of others wasn't prepared to follow the sex change Doctor. It's quite obvious that they should make a new cut of the 2017 Christmas special, adding and extra 30 minutes in which Peter Capaldi (the 12th and last Doctor) doesn't regenerate but dies a final glorious death. It could end with a little timelord girl standing in front of the graves of the 12 Doctors and imagining that she could one day do the things the doctors did. That way they could have closure for millions like me. Then they could make the sex change Doctor the the very first Doctor of a completely rebooted era from 2018 onward for anyone who wants to watch it. Absolutely, Larry Hagman all the way. Bill Cosby was always a left wing darling. Even after some of the things he had allegedly done to women had been exposed, they were swept under the carpet pretty quickly. It was only after Cosby started to speak at public events with some right wing leaning speech about the less desirable behavior of the modern generation of young black men, in terms of violence against women and drawing the attention of police with their behavior that things started to go against him. He soon drew the ire of young black stand up comedian and other left wing media commentators. All of a sudden the floodgates opened up as decades old allegations of sexual assault came from out of nowhere to end his career. So quite simply, whether both Russel Brand and Bill Cosby have done any, or all of the things they are accused of, it's impossible to ignore that these things only became an issue once they changed their social narrative. Lets go Brandon Yeah, I had no idea he was that short until I saw him next to Nicole Kidman in an older movie called The Paperboy. I think Kidman about 5’11” and she was wearing very high heels in one scene, but I was still shocked that she appeared to tower over Efron. Singer/actress Macy Gray, who appeared next to him in the same movie, also seemed considerably taller than him. Laufman was the original driver who was supposed to take part in the armored car robbery with Peter Coyote and the other guy. Since he was killed he obviously didn't turn up, so they got the young punk to be the new driver. However it is strange that the woman didn't appear again and apparently she just got away with the cold blooded murder of Laufman for no good reason. I can’t believe I had to scroll down so far through the posts to get to to this topic. I was beginning to think I was the only one struggling to understand the dialogue and over cooked southern American accents. Like others I needed to keep turning the volume up and down all the time. I just watched a HD recording from free to air TV and unfortunately subtitles weren’t available. You can imagine how bad that was. Funnily enough when I heard about Reece Witherspoon separating from her husband of 12 years, I had to confess the last time I knew anything about her love life was when she was with Ryan Phillippe. That then caused me to think "what ever happened to that guy ?" he was becoming a big name actor and then seemed to disappear. So I'm glad this message board has brought him up. I've just seen the sad news. As an Australian I've witnessed a number of television talk show hosts over the years from England, the USA and my Australia etc. However, to be perfectly objective, this wonderful Yorkshire-man, Michael Parkinson, was surely the greatest, most loved television talk show host and interviewer in the history of television. I can't believe his gone. What a legend he was. There didn't seem to be any indication that it was meant to be anything other than a normal episode of the Waltons. I remember things like the little girls doll moving by itself and the piano playing by itself downstairs in the middle of the night. It was all rather eerie and all quite serious in tone. I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it was lesser known and slightly bizarre American movie from the 70s. So probably not 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' but more of dark comedy that touched on mental illness (in that scene anyway). bump Or perhaps Jabba the Slut. So many similarities between This and Lost in Space. One of the biggest being the cowardly, selfish and neurotic characters of Dr Smith and Fitzhugh. Then there's there's the similarity in the type of relationship they have with the young boys of Will Robinson and Barry Lockridge. Indeed, why make a gripping 90-100 minute horror that leaves you on edge, when you can make a bum numbing, eye glazing 170 minute film that nearly puts you to sleep ? Your absolutely right, the one thing I can confidently say about this film in a review is that it was really long. It's probably a bit hypocritical of the commentators in the movie (who so often spoke about racism), not to mention the shear irony of this wealthy black mass rapist in the entertainment being being let out of prison after a couple of years on a legal technicality, yet a the wealth white, Jewish, mass sex offender (Harvey Weinstein), will spend the rest of his life in prison. I bet Weinstein wishes he had hired Cosby's lawyers, lol. Ah, the old "is this character meant to be gay" discussions, how I have missrd them, LOL. They were so common back in the glorious IMDB discussion days. But not so numerous now in Moviechat.org. However, in short, no, I don't think Ishmael was gay, but I guess we see what we all want to see. King Charles should end his next speech by saying “God save Joe Biden’s mother man”
