Sushi I'm not fond of, because raw fish doesn't appeal to me. I have eaten Mako Shark on a couple of occasions, and it had a rather rich flavor, a tad on the gamey side, but interesting.
Raw fish is still much more vulnerable to bad bacteria, and/or spoilage, especially if it's not stored or handled properly.
Most sushi (and I say most sushi, because there's vegetable sushi, as well). however, is raw fish, which is still perishable, and is therefore more vulnerable to the proliferation of bacteria that can cause serious food poisoning, ranging from minor discomfort, paralysis, or even death, in some people. That, imho, is not something to scoff at or take lightly.
Tonya Harding didn't actually do the whacking of Nancy Kerrigan's knee, but she was unquestionably involved in the masterminding and planning of this whole sordid incident. Why else would Tonya Harding deliberately co-conspire to obstruct the investigation and prosecution of Jeff Gillooly (now Jeff Stone) and his henchmen?
Some foods, however, are more vulnerable to bacteria growth than others through heat. Raw seafood is one of them.
To each their own, R_Kane, but I simply don't buy that.
Thanks, MovieManCin2.
I take it you're in the Boston area, HarvardBarbie! If so, why don't you and Jehosaphet both get your punk asses down to Southie (South Boston, MA), and flaunt your bitcheries there so that the rest of the world can see what clownish assholes you both are. I'd PAY to see the upshot of THAT one....and to have afew good, hearty, long laughs in the bargain!!
To HarvardBarbie and Jehosaphet: Suck and bite your goddamn fucking cunts. Unlike Tonya Harding, I've never beat people up for no reason, nor would I ever get involved in the masterminding and planning of an event that's an attempt to cripple a rival competitor by breaking his/her leg.
Bite your ass, Jehosaphet. Get off my case. Bite it! Suck your buns!
Even if the parasite was killed off, the thought of eating raw fish really doesn't appeal to me, plus I consider raw fish too risky to eat.
Jehosaphet--You've got me wrong here, babe. You think I'm the least bit jealous of Tonya Harding? You are crazy as a loon, if you think I am. I don't need your love, I'm not a humpbacked leper, nor was I molested by anybody, especially by a Tonya.
YOu, Jehosaphet, are talking straight out that stupid ass of yours. You don't know a fucking thing about me, and you never will, you stupid-assed retard. You got a lot of balls calling me a hooker or whatever, when I'm not. If you think I'm going to change my mind about and attitudes towards Tonya Harding, just to please you, you've got other work cut the fuck out for you. You know nothing about my mom, either, you stupid cunt.
You've never seen pictures of me, so you know nothing about what I look like, ya cunt. Even those people down in South Boston and Charlestown, MA, who rioted against forced busing back in the 1970's and beyond, had far more common decency than you seem to have. So did the late Boston School Committeewoman/City Councilwoman, Louise Day Hicks. If you don't know about Louise Day Hicks and Boston's busing riots, do a google search. A goldmine of info awaits you there.
If you think that you're going to get me to sympathize, support and like Tonya Harding, just because you do. I've got news for you: Forfuckinggetit, because it ain't gonna happen! Blow, Blow Blow Blow!!!
Hey, listen. I'm not making any stuff up, jack-ass. Get that through your thick head. Thanks.
Not eating sushi is probably a good idea. It's too risky, imho. Also, raw fish, generally, has never appealed to me.
Ouch!! I hope the woman recovered and is okay. Raw fish is dangerous, which is why I won't eat sushi, but I loved many, if not most cooked fish.
I never liked sushi, really. Raw fish doesn't appeal to me.
Yet, I see where many people would like it.
Especially during the hot, humid days of summer. Often, during a heatwave, and/or if when the temps go into the upper 80's or higher, I'll avoid eating seafood, despite my intense love for it.
Godiva's good, but I go with different brands of the dark, bittersweet chocolate. Mmmmmm!:P
Wow! Interesting flavors you've chosen there, R_Kane!!
Do you like Lyft? I think it's great! It's way cheaper and more reliable than a regular Taxi Cab. Moreover, they screen their drivers quite thoroughly, which is also extremely important.
I don't do this on a regular basis, but green tea (decaffeinated) is my choice. Green tea, without milk or sugar, is for me.
Some green teas are peach, lemon, or mint-flavored. I like the peach and mint-flavored green tea, also.
I graduated from high school in the late 1960's (1969, to be exact.), and an awful lot of the guys I grew up going to school with were precisely that.
