I don't agree with the idea of eliminating pharmaceutical prescription drugs. Often enough, they're necessary for the control of certain innate, biologically-based disorders of some sort or other, so that people who are afflicted with such disorders or illnesses can live as normal, happy and healthy a life as possible. Steppenwolf's "Born to be Wild": Easy Rider. Simon & Garfunkle's "Sound of Silence": The Graduate. The Beatles' "Hard Day's Night": A Hard Day's Night "Tonight": West Side Story It really does sound as if you're using your cellphone or whatever as a crutch. Suppose you ended up killing or seriously injuring somebody while you were DUI, texting/talking on your cellphone while driving, or doing both? If you're over 18 (which I assume you are.), you'd have to live with that for the rest of your life. How would you deal with that? jamesboland, this is for you. It's not going to cost Carriers and Providers their jobs. These laws can and should apply to everybody, regardless of what kind of a job they have. Talking/texting on one's cellphone, or DUI while driving solo isn't any safer than either using one's cellphone or DUI when driving a full bus or trainload of people. What's there not to get? Way to go, Popcorn Kernal! Well said! You couldn't have said it any better, and neither could I. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Sure. They probably find a**h****s like themselves for soulmates, if one gets the drift. It doesn't matter. Cell-phones are still a distraction and diversion from the job at hand; driving. Driving is something that needs one's undivided attention, and one tiny lapse of judgement and/or attention to what's happening on the road can be fatal! Ha ha ha! Speak for yourself! Nope. Some of those same neighborhoods in Boston have a real propensity of dealing out some true-blue street "justice" if somebody takes their wintertime space-saver out of a given parking space. People have actually come to blows in certain Boston neighborhoods over parking spaces during the winter months, when there's lots of snow and ice on the ground, with people even going to the hospital on an emergency bases. , and some have resulted in the weaker combatant being rushed over to MGH, BI/Deaconness, and other Boston hospitals. I'm pointing fingers? Speak for yourself, db20db. Thanks. The Second Amendment of the U. S. Constitution was written and used when the United States was first founded, in order to control and corral African slaves whenever they rebelled over something. Well then, the Australians are also smarter than a lot of Americans are. They're not that affective, partly because the United States' various lawmakers, from the president on down, have never, ever had the gumption to stand up to the NRA and the Gun Lobby. Adam Lanza's mother made the mistake of allowing her son to have access to guns, when he had psychological problems to begin with. She should've kept them locked up where her son couldn't get access to them, and unloaded, to boot. He was both sick and evil. Often enough, in instances like this, sick and evil can and do shade into one another. That's a bunch of BS. Don't blame it on Hollywood. Guns and the United States' dependency on them have been around since day one. People don't realize that the 2nd Amendment of the U. S. Constitution no longer applies. It hasn't applied here for ages. It doesn't matter. Not all of our mass-shooters are teens. Many, if not most of them are adults. How come other mass-shooters without criminal records have gotten access to guns so easily? There must be something about our whole society and culture that allows for that.
