agreed, the characters/actors were great. show was creepy enough to satisfy the horror element, but that jump scare in episode nine made up for the lack of scares. but wasn't that thrilled how it all wrapped up. https://www.youtube.com/user/rottentomatoes Jamie Lee Curtis just discussed this in a recent interview for the new movie. She talks how Laurie probably only took a few days off of school and went back as her parents would have had mid-west mentality of shake it off and move on. I assume that they do discuss some of this is the new movie that was in Halloween 4. if they mentioned it, I didn't see it or pick up on it and I thought the movie was decent so I was paying attention. makes sense now. i guess the build up was that Danny did not really beat him during the trial to become Iron Fist. The rules were the fight continued until death or concession. at first Danny refused to concede so Davos had to kill him, but hesitated. Danny took advantage and was then in the same position as Davos. But the elders stepped in and declared Danny the winner. This appears to have created doubt with Danny that he was truly the Iron Fist and obviously fueled Davos as he truly was not defeated. But yes, a more physically imposing actor would have been better. I wonder if they are going to explore a different Stephen King setting each season (if it keeps getting renewed). So next is at the Overlook Hotel and a character from that season will be the lead in the following season. I just thought they showed how when the hosts didn't have consciousness they didn't care about the flies being on them, but when they gained consciousness they swatted at them as a living person would. but, that would be really cool if the flies were used to transmit the "virus" that leads to consciousness. SPOILERS IN THIS POST the international trailer has more information. SPOILERS TO FOLLOW. It appears that the film crew is actually doing a story on Laurie and they go to interview Michael and bring up her name, etc. He is crazy so it probably leads him to go after her again. hopefully they explain why he comes back for her in the movie. or maybe he doesn't. perhaps he just comes back to Haddonfield to kill random people and she goes out to stop him. I liked Bushmaster and suspect that he will be back. I wonder if they decided to do that since the actor did such a good job. He was very good in the actions sequences. The last episode did have some weird things that they glossed over. When Tilda, looking amazing, came to Harlem Paradise Luke told Sug to tell Claire to go home. Claire came back? When? How? we didn't see this at all and her leaving was a big issue this season. agreed, about 15-20 minutes too long. since there was not much in the movie other than action scenes they could have cut them down a few minutes each. i assume that he is going to have a larger role next year, seems like Bradley whitford wouldn't be used for just a few episodes. just looked on Wikipedia. in the spring/summer months, the period when most of the off boat events happen, the temperature can reach 50 degrees. I assume that is why most of the men where walking around without jackets. I can't recall if the earlier episodes, events occurring in the winter, had the water vapor/steam. I didn't like, and don't like, when a show/movie misleads he audience with a false happening. In this case we have Ross talking to his superior. As we are watching it happen his superior is being derogatory towards Honor, but when we see how it really happened he is the one who was being derogatory. Lazy, misleading story telling. But, i was trying to figure out if Ross, for some reason was altering his memory of the conversion. I couldn't think of any good reason why he would. agreed, once o'keefe's story was over the season improved. I was just watching again for the nthteen time and I was thinking the same thing: chilton had to leave his pen; they had to hold him in a museum other than a prison, etc.; they had to have only two guards with him in the room (but 20 or so in the lobby doing nothing)(wouldn't there be a rule that both guards couldn't be near him at the same time); no security cameras; the guard had to put the plate of food down on the floor next to him; plus it would have taken him how long to hang the body, change the clothes, access the elevator. But, still a great movie. thanks, i will but that book on my list. nice review. thank you.
