Just my take but I didn't see her being gay as a big part of the plot. It was more about human suffering as a whole, how we treat each other and how we respond to a seemingly indifferent universe. The gay thing was just one of the ways they showed character growth on the part of the mother. Sean Hannity himself has called mainstream media propaganda. His channel is just conveniently exempt from that right? Talk about derangement, maybe take a look in the mirror. I love rainy movies too sometimes. Here are 2 more Glengarry glen ross (1992) Identity (2003) So The Guest is essentially a stylistic homage to 80s horror. The parents were intentionally out of touch, it's a common trope in 80's horror stuff. The kids are more aware of whats going on and the parents are sort of jaded and uptight. Has nothing to do with the movie wanting to be "overly correct". You still edited it incorrectly lol Lol are you serious? Sean Hannity is a propagandist and one look at Sorbos twitter makes me think he's a totally brainwashed knob. Can't say I feel sorry for him. Yes. They weren't made by Zippo at that point though, Zippo didn't come around until the 1930s Detective RAJH is on the case. I'm not the guy coming up with conspiracies over a show he doesn't like. "Those of you at home or watched this n thought it was good.....You were wrong lol." STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE I think you misunderstood the ending of the movie I totally disagree. It's actually only the last 10 minutes of the movie that has this "generic horror movie trope" going on. I don't get why a person being scared/being hunted is a horror movie trope. That's kind of the backbone of many horror movies more than a trope. And the fact they saved it for the finale, and did it rather well, was refreshing. It gave us some meat, some of what we expect to see at least somewhat in a horror movie, while still remaining an "elevated horror" film, for lack of a better term. The ending was the cherry on top of what was a brilliant, creepy thriller/drama about a family slowly falling apart due to demonic possession. Yes it wasn't a wholly original idea, demonic possession. But it showed the idea can still be done properly, and blew shit like The Conjuring out of the water. I think you're way off in comparing to the two. 1905, according to the Wikipedia page. "I am a stranger and I'm entitled to my opinion on subjective entertainment without being attacked on a personal level." Hahahah what a story Yeah no one was scared by the original IT, that's why it's such an unknown film. Maybe if it had modern cameras and loud noises and Tim Curry ran at the camera and screamed it would've been good. I didn't say "loud music". I said a sudden change in the camera, suddenly fixing on something "creepy" and accompanying it with a super loud noise. Not just "loud music". My book is wrong? Lol whatever you say man.
