Great, spooky, funny but one bad problem. Never watched a purge movie. Should I? Are these the worst oscars of all time? Is there a Superman vs justice league fight in this? Are we praising this movie just because of whats going on out there? Does it really blow? Saw this movie was trending so I’ll just say this Did you think they gave Gundam it’s rightful place? It's just gross and unnatural, not to mention flat out WRONG! 6 things that can’t be forgiven about this movie View all posts >

No, this happens often with people, when they like a movie and others don't, they instantly go to the "you didn't get it, that's why you don't like it." Believe it or not, not everyone likes a film about a flying cowboy hat alien who turns into a flying blanket near the end, the movie wasn't scary, wasn't that funny, and wasn't that interesting. It's sad because for me it started out great but by the end, I was already bored. Easily Peele's worst, I personally liked US a lot, even more than Get Out, but this was crap It's almost a crime that he isn't in movies more, he always classed up whichever film he was in, Metro without him would have sucked even more but he made the film memorable, he is always intimidating and fun to watch. No real clue, this movie kinda sucked but, from what I've read, I like to think that the monkey was like the flying blanket alien that you had to look at to get eaten by, so because the kid was so intrigued by the shoe maybe he didn't look at the monkey too much? Therefore lived? I have no idea, I just saw this movie yesterday, It started out so good and it ended up being some SCI FI crapfest monster. The problem was never hitler, people forget the Germans applauded and revered him when he came back from his conquests ala Alexander the Great and the Germans were a bit too quiet and comfortable when the Jews were magically being disappeared and looked the other way. The problem is never the maniacal power hungry evil piece of sht in power, it’s always those who put him there and want him to stay there. Germans back then were racist pieces of shit. An evil genius stupid enough to think he could take the whole world at once The differences are quite simple. When you white wash a character such as having a movie called the prince of Persia yet the main character is “whitest guy ever” Jake Gylenhall, the outrage is kept at a minimum because the reason why he is there is not political, woke, or any other millennial nonsense, it’s simply because they think the movie might make more money that way (even if it often isn’t the case) and most of us can get behind someone trying to make more money. When you take a child cartoon icon with red hair such as Ariel and make her black you are not doing it to make money, you are doing it to push some woke agenda and the movie doing well stops being your main concern. The movie will flop and Disney won’t care because they made their point. The super human naked mom was Jewish. There. Problem solved Well, what makes this movie scary is not the superhuman naked lady who loves to force breast feed you, the horrific part of this movie is actually that scene in the past when the guy is out buying diapers, because that stuff happens in real life and sadly it’s a bit too common. It reminded me instantly of the Josef Fritzl case, which is pretty much what that dude in the movie was doing down to the secret room in his house and all. In my opinion this is why this movie is good, it has a good balance between the funny stuff and gory stuff while actually talking about a very common crime that happens all the time. But yeah it’s mostly hilarious. I respect everyone’s opinion but if you think the serial killer in the past was a “subplot” then you really missed what the film was about. I just watched this movie yesterday and thought the exact same thing. Unless people in Austria are so friendly that everyone leaves everything unlocked and it’s normal to let yourself in like that, but it still bothered me View all replies >
