Anytime they feel like their agenda is being fought against (even if it's just perceived) they will try to tank reviews of movies that people are actually looking forward to.
She is either an actor, a real person who believes all of these lies she is told and is being used as a political pawn or she doesn't believe any of the shit she spews and is still being used as a political pawn.
Majority of critics are retarded. What did you expect?
Not to mention that they are trying to cover for Batwoman considering how terrible it is but because it's "progressive" people have to write fake favourable reviews.
Wouldn't be a bad idea but I think Joker should stay separated from Batman. I'd like to see a solid trilogy and MAYBE they end with a Batman set up.
I don't think we watched the same movie.
When he put on the clown outfit and make up throughout the movie, he turns into someone else entirely. He shows more confidence, charisma and just seems all around more happy.
I would say it's the same thing when he becomes The Joker by the end of the movie. It's like he is changing his persona to become who he really feels he is on the inside.
I wouldn't say he is typical. He clearly has some form of split personality as he talks to himself and says not to doubt himself.
There are 3 times in the movie where he shows doubt and then his persona suddenly changes. Likely this is caused by the LSD.
It's a character study of a man who is down on his luck and has had an all around terrible life and it's about his descent into madness. It just so happens that this takes place in an alternate Batman world. Batman isn't even remotely a focus and it's not filled with a lot of references to the comics, movies or other things Batman related.
It's supposed to be an uncomfortable movie and be somewhat "depressing" I guess but that is the appeal of it. Finding out how someone can turn into a villain like the Joker.
Pretty sure that's kind of how the dialogue is supposed to be. When they return to Derry and/or get called by Mike to come back to Derry, it essentially makes them revert to their child selves again.
Anyone who accuses a movie like this of being "problematic" have some very deep issues of their own that they need to address.
